G-TECH Pro (Competition Model - not older version)

Anybody had experience with the new G-Tech Pro Competition?? (not the older type which had quite average performace levels)

Seems like a funky tool for a small price. (shift light/rpms/reaction times/drag tree etc.. etc... all in one cool lookin unit)

Thoughts?

My local autobarn has them for $800. I know the orginal version is fine as I've had it for 2 years now; I found a couple of reviews on this new COMPETITION model and I think its time to upgrade.

Just wondering if you guys had played round with one of the new models. (shows kph/kw wtc rather than just mph/hp also)??

Best is to get the apexi rsm with g-sensor. very accurate.

a mate of mine has one of those apexi rsm's in his rex. cost him big $$ and its always playing up on him

It 'reboots' all the time. (turns off/on/off/on)

Very strange and its the replacment for the 1st faulty one which just wouldn't even turn on.

Don't think so as the resellers have asked him to return it for another exchange as its a 'common issue'. He's wanting his $$ back but they're not willing to do so.
