[Damn Yank!]

Hey guys,

I've been lurking these forums for a long time (2 years~) and I figured it's time to join up and introduce myself. My name is Robert, I live in Arizona, USA, and I'll be 21 in October. I'm not sure if it's rare for a Yank to sign up to your forums, but I have a good explanation!

I've always been a Nissan guy. I've owned 4 S13 240sx coupes and 1 S14a 240sx w/ an s14b 240sx front end conversion. All of my cars have been kept in good shape and wrenched on as any respectable car enthusiasts car would.

Of coarse, I've obviously always drooled over the chance to (legally) own a Skyline GTR here in the US and I came to the realization a long time ago that I probably won't ever have one due to the insane cost/risk involved. So, I started a many year long journey to find a more affordable, more rare (to be in the states), JDM S13 Silvia and swap in a RB26.

Well, about 1 year ago I finally acquired a 1993 Silvia "club" K's, got a state title and registration (sort of sketchy means), and insured the damn thing. There's 50% of my journey! For the past year or so I have been enjoying the car and keeping her in tip top shape and I'm here today because I've finally recieved my RB26!

Over the couple years I've been lurking here I've found a lot of good information that is otherwise impossible to find here in the US, or even on the internet for that matter, so here I am to tap your guys's brains.

Here's my previous cars and some pictures:

1989 240sx XE Coupe - No pictures.. this was my first car, and it was a pile of sh*t, haha.

1991 240sx SE Coupe - Err, again no pictures... This one was an auto and a DD.

1992 240sx SE Coupe - First ever project car... started life maroon w/ the stock Onevia face.

1995 S14a - S14b conversion, Orign Kit, 20mm front fenders, Diamon Black Volk TE37, Tein Coils, ViS CF Hood, custom Amber corner lights, JDM Bumper lenes

1990 240sx XE Coupe - All stock, no plans to mod, bought it to collect... it's 1 in 1,000,000 to find an S13 this clean in the states now-a-days. In the picture is my current DD - 2002 Impreza WRX 297AWHP.

1993 Silvia "Club" Ks - KPS13, bone stock, 100,000km, manual

Well, I guess that sums it up... more of a life story than a summary, but I figured I'd throw it all out there. Can't wait to mingle with the crowd here! See ya!
