the guy saw a wallet and took it. the wallet could have been in a shitter and he still would have taken it. i feel for ya and all but you did leave your wallet in the car. i dont get what the sunshine complex has to do with your break in in your driveway? unfortunately desperate people do desperate things so dont leave things to tempt them. ive had people go through the parents car and stuff in our driveway. its a pain in the ass to make all these precautions especially cause its your own driveway but it is the world we live in.

hope you get your car back on the road soon.

Thanks mate,

I guess, leaving my wallet in there was a prelude to disaster, but as you rightfully said; it's such a arse that it was on the driveway and yet the poor bastard still came into break my window.

Never mind, I had taken my car to the local car wash and have vacummed up all the broken class, opened up the door trim and also cleaned there not to mention reconnecting my speaking wires as the glass shattered internally as well and had cut them.

So I guess it's all primed now and just awaiting a replacement window.

Thanks fellas.

yeah my car hasnt been broken into but in the first week of having it it got egged as i was doing a u turn, and then a week later out the front of my gf's house no noticable damage thankfully, but just jelous ratty kunts out there that havnt worked for the cars they own i think

Yeah the east side is getting pretty bad aswell.. on friday my car and 4-5 other cars got absolutly destroyed and iwas parked outside timezone RIGHT infront of the security place and cameras but still got attacked along with other cars. i had my rear window completely smashed someone had jumped through it from roof and the whole roof is caved in along with keyed marks on the side of the car. damages on my car have totalled up to around 3-4k.. its ridilicuous

cant even fkin drive CAR :@ cause it going to take minimum 3 weeks and up to 12 weeks just to get rear windscreen imported.. since no one in melbourne stocks or supplies them.. if anyone knows anyone around aus who does windscreens PM me please. this is just ridiculous :P

thats coz u live in sunshine dude. i mean no disrespect to u cuz but my missus lives in sunshine and i fkn hate the area the amount of dodgy shit i see go down around there is fkn terrible and i never ever see the cops u know. ive been telling her and her parents to move out for the last couple of years and they reckon there going to caroline spit next lol, which btw i dont reckon would be any better.

i never left my 200 or my first gtr at her house i would always get her to pick me or i would get dropped off there, when i get my 34 gtr it will be exactly the same i wont bring it anywhere near there.

shit like that just doesnt happen in my area i leave my car out on the street at the front of my house and i know it will be there when i wake up in the morning.

i also keep my emo stick under my bed lol (small crow bar) just in case some one wants to f**k with me and ill bring my fkn rottie with me out the front and let him go full deadly at anyone who f**ks with my ghetto lol

i also keep my emo stick under my bed lol (small crow bar) just in case some one wants to f**k with me and ill bring my fkn rottie with me out the front and let him go full deadly at anyone who f**ks with my ghetto lol

people in the west pack more then a small crow bar and a puppy dog

man afta readin all that how can someone be so low to do that to someones car i swear if i caught someone doin that dey better fkn run, worst thing that has happened to me was that my car was egged. dw ppl its only a vl lol but still

I don't get why anyone would park their car outside anyways in Melbourne these days (unless ofcourse you don't have a garage etc.)

Mine are always parked in the garage, blocked of by cars of lesser value, the fence is padlocked and I have an over-protective Rottie...

Call me a bit paranoid, but at least I know no damage/theft will occur. Why take the chance?

Had my R33 Egged Twice in the Western Suburbs

1st time out the front of my g.f's house in Sunshine....woke up to 2 eggs sizziling on the paint work

then she moved to Keilor

2 weeks ago woke up to one egg dripping down the windscreen in Keilor.

not very cool.

Parked my car at home Wantirna for 4 years and never had a worry

    • I feel I should re-iterate. The above picture is the only option available in the software and the blurb from HP Tuners I quoted earlier is the only way to add data to it and that's the description they offer as to how to figure it out. The only fields available is the blank box after (Input/ ) and the box right before = Output. Those are the only numbers that can be entered.
    • No, your formula is arse backwards. Mine is totally different to yours, and is the one I said was bang on at 50 and 150. I'll put your data into Excel (actually it already is, chart it and fit a linear fit to it, aiming to make it evenly wrong across the whole span. But not now. Other things to do first.
    • God damnit. The only option I actually have in the software is the one that is screenshotted. I am glad that I at least got it right... for those two points. Would it actually change anything if I chose/used 80C and 120C as the two points instead? My brain wants to imagine the formula put into HPtuners would be the same equation, otherwise none of this makes sense to me, unless: 1) The formula you put into VCM Scanner/HPTuners is always linear 2) The two points/input pairs are only arbitrary to choose (as the documentation implies) IF the actual scaling of the sensor is linear. then 3) If the scaling is not linear, the two points you choose matter a great deal, because the formula will draw a line between those two points only.
    • Nah, that is hella wrong. If I do a simple linear between 150°C (0.407v) and 50°C (2.98v) I get the formula Temperature = -38.8651*voltage + 165.8181 It is perfectly correct at 50 and 150, but it is as much as 20° out in the region of 110°C, because the actual data is significantly non-linear there. It is no more than 4° out down at the lowest temperatures, but is is seriously shit almost everywhere. I cannot believe that the instruction is to do a 2 point linear fit. I would say the method I used previously would have to be better.
