R32 GTS25 injectors

Recommended Posts

Hi,

Just wondering if any of you guys ar girls know what flow rate and colour these injectors are? (R32 GTS25)

I know that they are top feed, and have heard that they are around the 270cc mark, but can't find a definate answer. I've seen a a dark pink/red set on one, but need to know if all GTS25's have these colour injectors and their flow.

Also does anyone know if the R33 wiring loom will fit onto the R32 GTS25 inlet manifold? (seeing as injectors are different, no VVT on 32 and maybe other things...)

The reason i'm asking is that i'm considering putting the 25 head on my spare 3 litre block, and i thought you NA guys would know. :D

Cheers

Benji

I have a RB25DE head also that I am dropping on to a RB30E block.

The injectors I pulled off it look exactly the same colour as a normal R32 RB20DET.

For some reason my RB20DET which is a 92 model has clear top injectors with a red dot on them?!? Maybe its been fiddled with as on high boost I recently tested to see how many kays I get out of a tank local driving to Uni and back, shops etc and I got 450km's when the light came on then by 510 the external fuel pump started to make that annoying noise telling me that fuel is around 10kays away from running out.

So now I've flicked to low boost gave the other half the controller with high boost turned off so I can't be tempted. :O

Should be interesting to see if there is any difference in fuel consumption.

Also as a note I do drive it hard always hitting full boost of 15-16psi drifting out of corners in second when boost hits hard and snapping second causing second gear to spin up with a slight snakey until 90km/h.

Thanks for the reply mate.

What colour did you say they were????

How far into your build are you?

It seems like your getting pretty good fuel economy. Last tank i got 450km. It took 58 litres to fill her.... so she was pretty empty. That's on an RB30ET, and not driving like my grandma either... :O

They are a red colour.

With regards to the build. Well The head is all ported and polished etc.

Before I sent the head off, I was unable to touch the front face of the exhaust valve, I am able to see the valve as clear as day and touch the front.

Before the work to the head the air flow would come up past the valve head up a little then do a 90degree turn to head out the port. Now there is no 90degree turn simply straight out :P

Should help the terbs spool a little quicker. :)

I'm now saving a few more $$ for the bottom end as i'm getting a little bit more done to it than I first planned.

Then again when I first set out for the RB30DET rebuild I didn't plan on rebuilding the head and porting it.

I'll post pics up when i get a hold of the camera.

I'd say max 2 months before its in. Hopefully.. :(

Money burns a hole in my pocket so I have to refrain from buying other bits and pieces along the way.
