Hi all

I have a 32 GTR that i need to replace the clutch in. I have a limited budget and I cannot afford 1800 for a nismo coppermix twin, however I might be able to come up with 1400 for a cusco metal twin or an exceedy metal twin.

The car is daily driven with the odd trip to the track and fairly regular trips out to my local drag strip.

What im wanting to know is anyones experciances with either the cusco metal twin or the exceedy metal twin, what they can and cannot stand for in the way of launching and motorsport, how long they last and the price of a rebuild once they start to slip. Also recomendations for other clutch's are welcome. I have looked into jim berry clutch's already and for my own reasons have decided against going with one.

Power output it will need to handle is aprox 350 hp

//edit

the OS Giken twin is another option, however how streetable are they?

Hi Ian,

With only 350hp have you considered going back to a single plate set-up? If you still have your factory flywheel laying around I would suggest an Exedy Sports Ceramic? Follow the link below to see what I can offer:
