Hey guys, just wondering if someone who has done a few of these can help me out?

Im ready to put an engine in my gtr, Ive swapped the vacuum lines off the inlet side, ive put the exhaust side including the turbos on, swapped the wiring harness over, and now I have a single pin connector and no visible sensor to connect it to

As the wiring runs, it should be near the back of the oil filter housing, or near the aac valve

There is no single pin connector on the car near it, and Im just wondering if there is an extra wire in the harness for an accesory I dont have or anything like that...

Im hoping to put the engine back in the car tomorrow after 4 months off the road...

PLEASE help me out here guys

Is the oil temp sender plug towards the front of the front of the filter housing? Ive got one plug which is a spade shape of the front of the filter housing but thats plugged in... the wire Im talking about is a smaller plug, with a more circular shape single pin.. it isnt hidden next to the yellow plug with the rubber boot around it is it?

isnt that a 2 wire plug to the steering rack? or is that something else

yer sorry that is a 2 pin i just checked... the gtr engine harness wiring diagram shows that one u mention with 1 pin (aqua with red stripe i think it is) doesnt go to anything from what i can tell

page 790 its right in the top left hand side of the page with the 2 detonation sensors, looks like the wire anyway

    • I know people cry at the price of the Getrag 12-14k for a conversion now, but it really is a nice mid point. Not going to get change from 10k on a gearset installed.  $30k++ for sequential.   I know you run the risk of a damaged used one and parts are hard to get but as a street car gearbox its really hard to beat. If you enjoy a more traditional manual, its the choice no question.
