enemy R32
Just in the middle of rebuilding my RB26 and was wondering whether i should re attach the two baffle plates to the main bearing caps? I have intalled a Tomei sump baffle kit. My first impressions are that i should, but i wanted to confirm with some of you guys who probably know much more than i do on this topic (thinking to much splash back up to the rods? ). If i dont have to put them back in, then what are the advantages and disadvantages of doing so? Thanx Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/234426-baffle-plates/ Share on other sites
GTRsean
I think they collect the oil thrown off the crank and rods and guide it into the sump. Better to put em back on as they were designed to do a job. I put mine back on as per factory.
