well it has a stock wastegate. well you can but you need to probably run an exhaust and pod to make the full potential of the turbo.

again its upto you to put extra mods to get more power (injectors, ecu, fuel pump, boost controller)

well you can put it on either rb20 or rb25

and the 2530 is the least laggy out if the hks gt series

I have a HKS GT2530 turbo to suit RB20, RB25 and SR20

Mr Rb20 they are a great turbo for an RB20. But be sure it is a T3 not T25 flange.

The same turbo cannot fit an SR20 and RB series engine as they have different exhaust flanges.

Forgetting the very latest HKS turbos the HKS GT2510 is the smallest, but typically the 2530 is seen to be the better option.

Oh and it uses an internal wastegate.

Do a search, plenty of happy RB owners using 2530s with stock injectors and re-written ECUs.

read the last page of thre thread, some RB25 owners weigh in on the conversation.

I have been in a RB25 witha 2530, and i sure dont think its "too small".. its very responsive and can give up to a 50rwkw improvement over std turbo. A great turbo.

from my understand the sr20's and rb (20 and 25) are changable
