After an eventful weekend, in 27 days I will have no license for the next 6 months so at this stage I have no need for this car at all..

I haven't owned it for long but it has been very well looked after in the period I have had it, only problem that it has is the 4th gear synchro's in the gear box. Common problem with the GTR box, on some occasions it will crunch into 4th gear but can be avoided by double clutching etc

Its nothing major that and doesn't affect performance in any way and the box is perfect in every other aspect, it may still last a life time. Easy fix if you have the box out, its a $120 synchro + labor

Always serviced with MOTUL oils and motor is very healthy, never misses a beat. Oil pressure reads perfect on all occasions

Very quick and reliable street car, not to mention legal. Exhaust is quiet, ride height is legal and there is only 1 induction mod so nothing detectable

Factory options include

- Active LSD

- Drivers and passengers air bag

- Upgraded V-SPEC altessa system

- Brembo brakes

Other mods

- Series 3 V-SPEC cluster - 10,xxx km

- DAN666 LED lights in cluster and din gauges

- Greddy auto turbo timer

- Apexi Power FC

- Splitfire coil packs

- Custom piping kit

- Trust pod filters

- XS Power front pipes - New

- JJR type 2 cat replacement pipe - New

- Trust copy 3" cat back exhaust - New

- Work Emotion XD9 - 18 x 10 + 18 - New

- 235/40/R18 tyres - New

- Japanese brand lock/wheel nuts - New

- PIONEER DEH6050UB head unit

- Slotted front rotors

- New interior floor carpet

- XTREME HD clutch

- Lightened flywheel

- SUPERPRO adjustable caster kit

- SUPERPRO adjustable camber kit

- Alarm & immobilizer

Some service history from CHASERS Motorsport as the previous owner used to take it there, about 2k in receipts for servicing and maintenance

Also has 1k in receipts from CENTRELINE as they did the bushes and an alignment. I have receipts for when I had the car re tuned, also dyno graphs to show power output

Car makes 230kw at all 4 wheels on a lazy 13psi, that was with the old leaky exhaust. With this new exhaust setup it will surely make more power and also a lot quicker, I can feel it being more responsive and strong up top as well. Has plenty more left in it, with CAM gears and a more aggressive tune, boost up to 14 - 15psi it should see in excess of 250kw

Any comments or interest please PM me, I have had to make a new thread because the last one just has too much rubbish

Thanks

lol get ur beast to make over 200 kw before jumping into the ring :)

good luck with sale anyway, been in this car and had a quick check over of underneath and engine bay while up on the hoist all in good nick!

saw the car on Saturday and did go over it and for the price it is an awesome buy.

them white wheels makes it look oh so so so fat lol and exhaust has a nice not so loud but tough note.

small things like the seat shouldn't worry anyone. it still holds the driveer as good as it did before.

gluck with the sale abu.

I too drove this car last week and it is a genuine GTR, wheels look great and the car drives great. A real bargain for anyone in the market for a 33:)

Looks great, I feel your pain trying to sell, the white wheels suit it well, but it takes me back to when mine had them and trying to keep them clean, one drive and the fronts are filthy, looks the same on yours!

Free bump for you anyway!

    • Ahhh, I need the whole head unit. I definitely needed to roll back through and review your setup, ha ha! Neat setup they have going on. I just need a full double din head unit. But I want good and responsive. I might have to review what the likes of pioneer have out these days.
    • Ok so after much research and talking with knowledgeable people I've got my turbo conversion done and it's all running great other than 1 small issue.  Car has remained auto with the na auto and tcm, I've used a stagea ecu with. NIstune board and everything is great other than my gear selection on the dash. It illuminates park, reverse, neutral, 3rd and 2nd. But nothing drive or what gear your in when you pop it into tiptronic.  I'm sure there is may e 1 wire in the ecu plug I need to move to rectify this. Dose anyone here have any ideas?   Cheers guys
    • Sorry I haven't been following all the detail, so you may have tried this. Does it idle with the tiniest bit of throttle you can add? You've mentioned the IACV, does it have an AAC valve and have you adjusted it at all (ie, screw the idle adjust screw all the way in, then back it out a couple of turns until idle is stable)?
    • My bad, I unplugged the one underlined in red instead of yellow before. With the car started, after unplugging the IACV (the one underlined in yellow), it idled at around 400/500 for 3 seconds before stalling. Attempting to start the car without the IACV will not start the car.   It does stutter and sputter for around 5 seconds before dying. However, immediately after starting it, you can already hear some slight sputters from the exhaust.   It won't start with the AFM unplugged. If it is when the car has already started, it stalls in a few seconds.   Yesterday, I did take some logs using Nistune of 3 scenarios. Car idling till it stalls Car idling and unplugging the IACV Car idling and removing the AFM I also have some previous logs of when the Car is idling till it stalls and when driving and it cuts. I am not really knowledgeable enough to understand what to look for. After every test, car idles rougher and rougher, until I have to stop. It will be fine the day after.
    • There is no difference between a 17x8 and an 18x8. The total diameter of the tyre needs to remain +/- the same (so you don't mess up the gearing, speedo reading, and clearance when turning front wheels..... so you just need to use a lower profile tyre on th 18 than you do on the 17. /rocket surgery.
