Well it's time to cut my expenses and the first thing to go is my much loved and babied Skyline - Next owner will NOT be dissapointed.

Since owning this car it has given me 0 problems, tough motor, no accident history, fresh clutch and gearbox and I have honestly never driven her hard - In fact she is mostly locked up in my garage for the weekend driving.

I purchased this car from an import dealer completely stock and as an automatic. I decided on an automatic on the advice of the dealer (personal friend) because after a long time of importing cars he came to the conclusion that automatics were generally kept in better nic in Japan. I then had his workshop convert it to manual using a conversion kit, and since has been trouble free.

Since my purchase I have kept up regular servicing and maintenance keeping it mechanically A1, whilst tastefully modifying her.

I have over $6000 worth of receipts from the work I have done on her (within the last 4 months) so my loss is definatly someone else's gain - But it's time I cut my losses.

Car is in immaculate condition with only 72,000kms on the clock. Serviced and looked after by Pro Concept, who have just completed a major service including:

- All fluids and oils (Motul)

- Filters (Oil and fuel)

- A complete inspection of the undercarriage, suspension and brakes (All fine bar the front brakes, which have been fixed)

- Throttle body cleaned

- New water pump fitted

- New timing belt and external drive belts fitted (Gates)

- New idle pulley fitted

Also....

- AFM replaced

- New front brake pads - Rotors machined

- New tyres (Maxxis 225/55/R17)

- New battery

Mod's include:

- 17" Rodney James racing rims

- Maxxis 225/55/R17 tyres

- X-force 3" Turbo back exhaust. Custom 3" dump pipe to stainless steel cat, to oval resonator, to 4.5" tip

- Blitz BOV

- K&N panel filter

- Blitz gearknob

- Whiteline front strut

- Just Jap FMIC (Currently not installed)

- Mongoose MX40 alarm system

- Dark window tints

- Sony head-deck + rear speakers

- Nismo seat covers

- HICAS lock bar

If anyone is looking for an impressive imported sports car that has been carefully looked after with potential for big power (up the boost, install the FMIC, tune the car) then this is the one for you - A great platform.

It's no secret that I baby my imported cars - This is my 3rd skyline and each one I have kept at a high standard.

All inspections welcome, and I'm more than happy to answer any questions or enquires relating to the car.

P.S feel free to PM me for more photos.

Cheers,

Michael

    • Ok thanks..that was my second question if i can somehow bypass this even with Nistune(that is all i have right now...aparat from stock ECU. So with some aftemarket it can by "bypassed" or make it work?  I know there is Link or Haltech (mainly used). We have ECUmaster here so i will gather some info about it.
    • Yes. You will need to get the original boost sensor and wire it in. That is.... if you plan to use a stock ECU - even a Nistuned ECU. The Nissan ECU will not operate correctly without it connected. And yes, it will do annoying stuff like you are experiencing. You will almost certainly be better off with some aftermarket ECU, than trying to hunt down rare sensors.
    • Ok so ABS/TCS is "not" the problem. Yeah i know now about the ABS with Nistune(i told that to the Nistune guy) but iam not 100% why or why i dont have ABS. ABS cube is in the engine (always has been) but i had braked couple of times rly hard and brakes just locked and scream. Does all Skylines have ABS cube? That boost sensor https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/367633-wtb-r34-gtt-turbo-pressure-sensor-pics-inside/ Is this it? I need to ask but i have a picture of engine bay and i do not see that (100% is not in that place) If i do not have this the car can do what mine is?(cutting around 4000 rpm) Here is the pic of my engine bay(only one i have) BUT i think i dont have that cuz loom was used from my RB20DE NEO and i know (obviously) that it does not have boost control or any wire to that...) so maybe that is the problem? (i dont know for 100% if that car where the engine is from had that)...but i dont have the loom from that
    • I'm with you here. It's either loom has an issue, OR, injectors are not functioning properly. It could even be they're just constantly dribbling, hence the wet, but not firing.
    • Depending on how long the car sat it is very possible for injectors to be stuck open or closed, I'd get them cleaned and flow tested. Other than that, obviously when the loom changes and the car doesn't start any more....the loom is suspect so some tracing / comparing may be required
