Oh Oh Found A Leak.

Hey guys,

I noticed what felt like some small sticky oil droplets on my garage floor.

Just looked up under the car and saw this.

Any idea what's leaking and what could have caused it?

Red circles are little drops forming or where it's quite wetish from the oil.

Happened out of nowhere.

Have the exact same leak from somewhere, Its not the hose and the fitting is screw'd in tight into the box... unsure where its coming from

try and tighten the little bleed nipple a bit more

Its the Transfer case actuator and speedo drive. They will possibly have o-rings sealing them and once the 0-ring goes hard it no longer seals. Very easy to replace.

exactly deren, its normally the o ring behind the housing there.

It could also be the actuator line leaking, that is pretty common. To check that unscrew the actuator (you will loose all the attessa actuator from the boot) make sure the thread is nice and clean and the flare on the pipe is not damaged. then screw it back in nice and smoothly until it is tight. you shouldn't need teflon tape but add some if you are worried. Remember to refil and bleed the attessa

Found it odd at first cause they were small droplets on the floor but very very sticky.
