Intercooler upgrading R32->34

Hi people

I recently purchased a new cooler for my car (upgrade) ,what I decided on was Greddy made to suite a R34, now I was told that It was so suppose to fit my car without much drama, I was asking for a bit of drama anyways seeing as the cooler was made for different model Gtr, the cooler itself is basically the same if it weren’t for the top pins being about 1 centimetre shorter then mine(Standard GTR R32) .Now I dont know if anyone has done a smilar upgrade if so I would be interested to know what they done to cut across this issue , also I noticed with my cooler it was pretty straight forward where as with this one comes with some kind of outlet hole which im gathering is meant for the R34 system , I have blocked it off as mine dosnt have any gauge or otherwise that would cater to this outlet still curious what it might be for ?
