I just got confused reading this ..

http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/St...st-t212629.html

What does a stock r34 boost to, either typically as displayed on the MFD (the max line marker)

or in real life, if there is a difference?

I just picked up my newly complied car and the MFD seems to top out at 0.70 (kilopascals)

that is just over 10psi or the same as kpa in bar (0.70) .. so, I'm wondering whats up with that.

second question, unrelated.. can you buy a replacement LCD panel for the MFD? mine has the

nismo logo on it, but a vertical row of pixels lights up in different random colors. If I buy a new

MFD then I'll loose the cool nismo mod :D

Thing is, im not sure what a stock r34 gtr's boost is because most have at least a catback exhaust which raises boost a tad and the initial spike of boost in 1st n 2nd is registered n kept until you reset it.

like in 3rd on load to 5500rpm will make 1.07ish kpa but in 1st/2nd it will register 1.20kpa.

Not sure about the MFD; does the version 2 upgrade come with a new screen? costs over a G'

Pretty sure they run that standard until you remove the little restriction valve? Then you can run 1 Bar? I think the cost of a replacement LCD screen would be large, as all genuine parts are.. but im sure you can get one, would definitely have to make a phone call to Nissan to confirm though!
