im sure alot of people are, theres so many jdms in newy but no events or anything.

i spose ill organise it and people can either choose to take there atmo BOVs off etc or not.

i got nothing to worry about myself only stealth shit :)

quiet exhaust, manual boost controller etc.

ill drop a link in here.

Although I'm from the coast I'd be happy to drive up to newcastle for a meet up, especially since the thursday night SAU meet here on the coast fell through after police put an end to it.. Now all there is here is a bunch of pulsars and lancers revving it in an undercover carpark.

Also I have a few friends who would be keen to drive up. We definitely need to avoid the foreshore but...

Spotted very nice looking and sounding black 32GTR going through East Maitland this morning

They got stuck in traffic and I had a good look and listen to the car

Also had a LOL at the guy in the BMW convertible a few cars back, must have been cold driving that thing

Spotted two Skylines this morning

White 33 with no rear spoiler passed me just at the start of the road to nowhere at jesmond and cut across to take the uni exit

Then had a blue 33 go past about just after that straight

Think I saw them turn off at the Hexham bowling club but not sure as I was watching the line of traffic in front at the time

Silver r33 gtr I think, drove past my work in Hamilton today just after lunch, brightened up what was a dull meeting, cheers!

And saw a black 32gtr a couple of times on hunter st yesterday afternoon.

Hey guys, don't mean to be a pest, but I've recently offloaded my r33 and have some remaining parts I'm looking to offload. Ive had them up for a little while as pickup only, but as of this week I'm looking for a new job and want them gone this weekend, hence the prices. Pickup on the central coast (lake munmorah) or possibly stockton way from my parents house.

Splitfire coilpacks- (series 2 rb25det) $220

Standard gtst exhaust, complete from dump pipe back- $100

1x Standard r33 gtst ecu, manual, series 2- $50

1xReflashed r32 ecu, suited for rb25det, 12psi, fmic, full exhaust- $50

would the splitfires go in an rb25de?

would the splitfires go in an rb25de?

It says on the box they do. They are the model with the igniter, so that series 1.5 onwards from my understanding.

Model number- SF-DIS-005

So are newcastle/central coast people keen to have a meet up ? say every fortnight or monthly...... If theres enough interest i will start a thread in events for a newcastle/central coast meet.

as for location that will be decided as a group descision if people are keen.

cheers

I am semi keen, wouldnt mind meeting some new people, since i dont no anyone of the forum.. I always see plenty of skylines about. Not keen on the police though... Defo not keen on the foreshore!!

Spotted a white r34 on newcastle road about 1pm, a white a r33 on park ave yesterday about 3pm and a white r35gtr on steward ave about 4:30pm.

I'm only in newe 5 days a fornight now, so i'll be hit and miss for a meetup.

It's so strange for me. Where I'm from every weekend a car club would cruise up the main street along a foreshore and park up near a light house. I'm talking imports to 1960 hotrods With blowers out of the bonnet and everything in-between and there's alot more cops down there.

Is everyone just paranoid around here or what cause I've never even been breath tested in 6 months since being here!

I think it's alot less sus driving slowly through a public place early Sunday Arvo and getting a feed, then meeting in some boring cold ass carpark at 10:00 on a Saturday night. Gotta remember we are still human beings and meeting up isnt illegal... I don't know what the difference is between you driving by yourself or with 15 people.

    • I guess one thing that might be wrong is the manifold pressure.  It is a constant -5.9 and never moves even under 100% throttle and load.  I would expect it to atleast go to 0 correct?  It's doing this with the OEM MAP as well as the ECU vacuum sensor. When trying to tune the base map under load the crosshairs only climb vertically with RPM, but always in the -5.9 column.
    • AHHHH gotchaa, I'll do that once I am home again. I tried doing the harness with the multimeter but it seems the car needed a jump, there was no power when it was in the "ON" position. Not sure if I should use car battery jump starter or if its because the stuff that has been disconnect the car just does send power.
    • As far as I can tell I have everything properly set in the Haltech software for engine size, injector data, all sensors seem to be reporting proper numbers.  If I change any injector details it doesnt run right.    Changing the base map is having the biggest change in response, im not sure how people are saying it doesnt really matter.  I'm guessing under normal conditions the ECU is able to self adjust and keep everything smooth.   Right now my best performance is happening by lowering the base map just enough to where the ECU us doing short term cut of about 45% to reach the target Lambda of 14.7.  That way when I start putting load on it still has high enough fuel map to not be so lean.  After 2500 rpm I raised the base map to what would be really rich at no load, but still helps with the lean spots on load.  I figure I don't have much reason to be above 2500rpm with no load.  When watching other videos it seems their target is reached much faster than mine.  Mine takes forever to adjust and reach the target. My next few days will be spent making sure timing is good, it was running fine before doing the ECU and DBW swap, but want to verify.  I'll also probably swap in the new injectors I bought as well as a walbro 255 pump.
    • It would be different if the sealant hadn't started to peel up with gaps in the glue about ~6cm and bigger in some areas. I would much prefer not having to do the work take them off the car . However, the filler the owner put in the roof rack mount cavities has shrunk and begun to crack on the rail delete panels. I cant trust that to hold off moisture ingress especially where I live. Not only that but I have faded paint on as well as on either side of these panels, so they would need to come off to give the roofline a proper respray. My goal is to get in there and put a healthy amount of epoxy instead of panel filler/bog and potentially skin with carbon fiber. I have 2 spare rolls from an old motorcycle fairing project from a few years back and I think it'd be a nice touch on a black stag.  I've seen some threads where people replace their roof rack delete with a welded in sheet metal part. But has anyone re-worked the roof rails themselves? It seems like there is a lot of volume there to add in some threads and maybe a keyway for a quick(er) release roof rack system. Not afraid to mill something out if I have to. It would be cool to have a cross bar only setup. That way I can keep the sleek roofline that would accept a couple bolts to gain back that extra utility  3D print some snazzy covers to hide the threaded section to be thorough and keep things covered when not using the rack.
    • Probably not. A workshop grade scantool is my go to for proper Consult interrogation. Any workshop grade tool should do it. Just go to a workshop.
