Well i was at the ingle farm shopping centre and was parking my GTR. I useally park right away from everyone to stop the little dings and scratches. But i saw a series 1 33 GTST parked a bit away also. So i decided to park next to the car to have a better look at it.

Im wandering around it and when i glance in i relise the bloke was sitting in it! lol... he got out and said hi etc. Had a quick chat.

Then he said im suprised you would want to look at my car. I asked whys that. He replied cos mines just a GTST and ive found you GTR guys are arrogent and not interested in looking at a crappy gtst. You guys think just because you own a GTR your better then us...

I thought he was joking and had a laugh, but no he was serious!

I cant say im like that at all!

Has anyone else come across this!?

Or any body agree with him!!

lol WTF!

haha he was fully sick.... wanker lol!!

I find R32 owners are the arrogant one thinking that their R32 is the best thing EVER to come out of japan and every other model Skyline is rubbish - those people needs a punch in the face, especially those with GTSt's thinking that.

Is it also arrogant when someone goes out of there way to get you a price for a part from nissan them pm's you to have you not reply saying cheers for that man

Hey mate i did reply!!

And i also put on there if you wanted to look at the GTR bonnet for yourself to make it a bit cheaper id buy the linning off of it???

But i didnt get a reply back!

Damn cooking model drivers piping up again!!!lol

You think that happens, I got ignored by a guy in an R32 GTR next to me in town.

Smiled and waved but he though he was better than me, ignored me, arrogant p#$c!!

Nothing wrong with any model, they all cars in the end!

We are SUPERIOR... simple!! ... and we know it. :)

Don't flame me I'm kidding!

I reckon my old GTS-t was one of the best rides I have ever owned.

Respect to any tidy ' line....You give me a wave you will get one back.

lol Adam, you should've kept quiet and had us all wondering who Steve was talking about..........Steve, relax bud, worse things out there for us to worry about.

I like all Skylines but I feel a bit of vomit come to my mouth when they're over dressed & and turned into rice pudding...........Chad's is a good example of what clean & tuff should look like.

Remember, less is more folks.........Japs knew what they were doing with the original design, why go & stuff it up?! :)

I cant believe you are willing to have a chat to him Adz, and he calls you 'an arrogant GTR driver' to your face...

I've found over past years that many other skyline owners DR30s/31s/32s/33s/34/35-GTRs/GTS' or whatever have genuinely shown interest as enthusiasts and have been up for a chat - drop their window along side of me and say g'day - nice car, etc - stop along side of skylines at the servo and talk about mods and all sorts.

There are so many other skylines on the road today, and 1 in 3 is probably driven by some cream stick wanker- who couldnt give two shits and have any interest whatsoever as an enthusiast. I've seen a few posts in the spotted section where members have said they spotted a nice skyline, given a thumbs up or wave, and are returned with a WTF look on the other drivers face...

    • I thought that might be the case, thats what I'll start saving for. Thanks for the info
    • Ps i found the below forum and it seems to be the same scenario Im dealing with. Going to check my ECU coolant temp wire tomorrow    From NICOclub forum: s1 RB25det flooding at start up Thu Apr 11, 2013 7:23 am I am completely lost on this. Car ran perfectly fine when I parked it at the end of the year. I took the engine out and painted the engine bay, and put a fuel cell with an inline walbro 255 instead of the in tank unit I had last year. After reinstalling everything, the engine floods when the fuel pump primes. if i pull the fuel pump fuse it'll start, and as soon as I put the fuse back in it starts running ridiculously rich. I checked the tps voltage, and its fine. Cleaned the maf as it had some dust from sitting on a shelf all winter, fuel pressure is correct while running, but wont fire until there is less than 5psi in the lines. The fuel lines are run correctly. I have found a few threads with the same problem but no actual explanation of what fixed it, the threads just ended. Any help would be appreciated. I found the problem though. There was a break in one of the ecu coolant temp sensor wires. Once it was repaired it fired right up with no problems. I would have never thought a non working coolant temp sensor would have caused such an issue.
    • Hi sorry late reply I didnt get a chance to take any pics (my mechanics on the other side of the city) but the plugs were fouled from being too rich. I noticed the MAF wasn't genuine, so I replaced it with a genuine green label unit. I also swapped in a different ignitor, but the issue remains. I've narrowed it down a bit now: - If I unplug and reconnect the fuel lines and install fresh spark plugs, the car starts right up and runs perfectly. Took it around the block with no issues - As soon as I shut it off and try to restart, it won't start again - Fuel pressure while cranking is steady around 40 psi, injectors have good spray, return line is clear, and the FPR vacuum is working. It just seems like it's getting flooded after the first start I unplugged coolant sensors to see if its related to ECU flooding but that didnt make a difference. Im thinking its related to this because this issue only started happening after fixing coolant leaks and replacing the bottom part of the stock manifolds coolant pipe. My mechanic took off the inlet to get to get to do these repairs. My mechanics actually just an old mate who's retired now so ill be taking it to a different mechanic who i know has exp with RBs to see if they find anything. If you have any ideas please send em lll give it a try. Ive tried other things like swapping the injectors, fuel rail, different fuel pressure regs, different ignitor, spark plugs, comp test and MAF but the same issue persists.
