Installing Aftermarket Steering Wheel And Auto Gear Knob

Hey guys, so I wanna change my steering wheel and my auto gear knob to something sportier.

Does anyone know of any fitting shops with experience in this department or someone who has done it before?

I know about the legality of changing the wheel.

So please anyone who can help me, I look forward to your replies/pm.

I bought the OBX Racing Sports TOMCAT SK-18 gearshift knob

It really looks like a jet-pilot's maneuver shift stick.

had that style of gear shifter on my soarer, was pretty easy to install. it only last ~5months until the plastic holding the spring for the shift button broke. so handle with care.

As for the steering wheel, dont R33's come with air bags ?

can someone tell me if I can cut the wire attached to my standard auto gear knob without damaging the gear shift?

also does anyone know what that wire is supposedly used for?

im guessing over drive. cut it and lose 4th gear. run it to a switch if your a/m knob doesnt have one
