I've owned this car for 6 years and had the RB20 put in 4years ago, 1 of which it's been sitting in my driveway due to fixing (and moreso my slackness).

Approximately 160,00kms.

Here are a few things that are included:

Induction:

K&N pod filter; stock AFM; VG30 ball bearing turbo; R33 GTR intercooler (a few dents but no troubles); custom cooler piping.

Exhaust:

3" s/steel dump pipe; full 3" mild steel mandrel bent exhaust with hi-flow cat and big muffler & tip.

Driveline:

Stock RB20DET; highly lightened flywheel; brand new heavy duty Xtreme clutch (under 200kms); R32 5spd gearbox; stock tailshaft but recently replaced centre bearing; Silhouette LSD with 4.11 gears.

Wheels & Brakes:

17" Performance rims with good tyres; slotted rotors, rebuilt callipers, and EBC Greenstuff pads (stops on a dime!!).

Suspension:

Front coilovers made from KYB shocks and 8kg Aurora springs; rear has lowered King Springs and Monroe shocks (kind of old now though); front and rear Whiteline swaybars; and a front Nolethane brand front strut brace; all wheel bearings, ball joints, and front tie rod ends have roughly 1 year's use (same as rotors, pads & callipers).

Interior & Exterior:

Very few scratches and maybe 1 or 2 minor dents over whole body; bumpers not great, but mainly a few scuffs; bonnet and roof resprayed only 2 weeks ago; interior in good condition, front seats a bit stained and a wear through the material on side of driver's seat. Carpet clean but a bit shabby, especially under driver's feet (would suit new carpet). Door trims excellent, clean and no tears. Also comes with Momo steering wheel and Auto Meter boost gauge. Dash is in great condition with no cracks or scratches; console good too, no looseness, but some paint wear on regularly used knobs etc.

Stereo:

JVC MP3 player with remote; a 2-channel DLS amp; and Kenwood front speakers.

Miscellaneous:

Brand new battery. Has a Walbro fuel pump too.

A few issues:

Gearbox has a noisy bearing (has had since I put it in, not real loud but noticeable), though does not detract from performance in any way. Needs a good tune. Has a bit of lag, but as I used it mainly for hills driving I kept it in high revs anyway so did not bother me. When full boost kicks in though it really moves. A smaller (maybe stock) turbo would solve this, or a good tune with chipped or after market ECU.

Car comes with receipts for most, if not all work done. I'm fairly certain I've mentioned everything, but it's possible I've missed things.

Registered as RB20 with RB20 engine number on rego, so no cop problems!!

Price is $7,500, but is also negotiable. No reasonable offer refused.

PM or call or SMS me on 0402005664 for a look and a test drive.

    • I've looked up the parts number (41011AL501). It's around $700 OEM. Usually our Infiniti G35 here in Canada have interchangeable parts with my Stagea but the parts number are not the same. I have looked around and it seems the JDM 2005 V35 Skyline (which is the same as our G35) has the same caliper but I cannot confirm. And I can't find a repair kit. The inner brake pads drags on the rotor, seems to be rusty piston. Thanks for the info by the way
    • This coupled with 6-9 speed autos with ridiculously short gearing is why these modern shitbox cars always seem so fast off the line. If it wasn't for those things, Raptors would not seem fast. The problem we have is there is a driveability gap between a more gentle take off and a wheelspinning sideways launch. The difference between ankle flex required to achieve one and ankle flex required to achieve the other is about 0.5°.
    • Yeah I think I'm also with the opposite here. It's 'hard to keep up with traffic' because in the real world I'm accelerating with 15% throttle and they are pinning it. It feels like I'm being an overt dickhead at anything above 15% throttle, so the car sounds like I'm being an overt dickhead to keep up with/get ahead of traffic when I'm really just trying to drive with traffic. There would be no issue 'keeping up with traffic' if we used the same level of throttle input/aggression to drive around. People really do just drive around with their foot nearly pinned in econoboxes.
    • To be fair it's the other way around. 300kw is boring in a modern Golf or BMW. They are so competent / well-engineered / devoid of emotion that you have to go stupid fast to feel anything. Whereas the <300kw RB still makes all the right noises and it feels good to drive. Can pull off at the lights with the turbo whooshing and the blow-off pssshing and feel like the coolest kid on the block. Just don't look to the side where you'll see the bored housewifes in their shitbox Yaris/Corolla/Camry that kept up because you didn't go fast at all
    • 300kW is so boring in a Skyline, you'll get spanked by someone's mum's Golf with Alibaba pipes, and an email tune.
