Intercooler

Hey all,

im upgrading things on my GTR at the moment.

Next up will be the turbos etc hoping to get a bit over 300kws.

At the momenti have a Trust intercooler, nice size one. But its a bit old. Fines broken, bent, row missing etc. How much does this affect the way its working etc?

I was thinking mayb id replace it but dont want to spent the $1000 on a big brand name one.

Whats the thoughts on the ISC ones and those kinda $500 and less?

Would it be better for me to keep the slightly damaged trust one to one fo these?

I could get some pics of just how bent the fins are etc if this would help?

mate id just give it a good clean. The trust coolers are good. My old cooler had broken fins. ect. Didnt affect its performance.

Just remember people are pushing over 300rwk on stock 12 year old ones. Yours is upgraded.....

If your gonna get something for $500 - put the stock one back on IMO.

I dont have the stock one, it didnt come with the car.

How much does a bit of damage effect the performance of them??

Depends on how bad - probably nothing to get excited about.

What i meant was buy a stock cooler and put that in there if your only going to spend $500

Least you know it'll work
