Oran Park And R35 7th And 8th December

Recommended Posts

Well here I am in Sydney having been invited by Rod Markland and Terry Ashwood to attend this weekend for the last V8 Super car round, and of course the fabulous Group A and C Historics. To say I am having a ball is a complete understatement.

And the R35 is simply awesome. We have this car on loan from Nissan for the whole weekend.

Some more pics from today. Rod ran a fantatic race, starting from last because of a DNF yesterday, and gained to get a tenth from a grid of 35 cars. Adam in the bluebird had brake issues and as already advised the Exa was out for today, but Glen Seton managed a second behind Paul Stubber in the A9X for the last race of the day. It as really a huge day today, with Skaifies last supercar race, and the crowd was unreal. The R35 was a massive drawcard, and everyone loves Terry Ashwood's R32. The HR31's also drew a huge gathering, and everyone it seems has some sort of memory about these cars. I had a great weekend, looking forward to coming home, but something I will never forget. I have felt very priviledged to be involved with this event.

    • Yeah I also looked at Plazmaman, but, it ended up alot  cheaper getting black ones through EFI when you also added in the delivery cost
    • Nice shot! They look super clean. The roof rack delete on the black one is interesting. Would like to see more pictures from different angles. It's subtle but could make quite a difference to how the car looks in profile.
