for some stupid reason mine only made 66kw. Even last year made 85kw with a shocking missfire. No one new what was going on. Even ran in rwd for one and still the same. Strange.

Its all that heavy chrome on your dished rims and the wide track that makes it difficult for your engine to spin .

my run from yesterday.

previous dyno sheet. before some small mods but with out the 18s and semis

buy the guys at Aussie Dyno tune on port road. but there wasnt much in depth tuneing as sutch because its just running the standard ecu. purely adjusting boost and fuel presure.

videos now up in the same folder (missing krishy's and mine as they were over the mb limit, gonna be up later)

Gav those semi-slicks definitely held you back.

Just speak to Matt (whatsisname) about the difference it makes without them.

From what I saw, I'm guessing your car would've cracked the 200 mark.......better luck next time bud.

Good to catch up again with you, Louisa and Rachel.

well organised PGA guys, well done on another great day!!

dont know what happened to my car, still has me miffed a little as to what caused such a drastic lean out, I think the pressure hose blew of the fpr as his readout was only showing 15 psi but my ebc was reading much higher!

havn't confirmed my wideband sensor is stuffed yet but will be getting a new one asap, I think it's reading opposite to what the afr actually is, handy!, I may have cooked it running it in the dump directly in the line of fire!! anyway tuner error, lucky Lee's was fine.

Definately seems strange Adrian thats for sure. I cant believe your beast still managed 340rwkw in a far from optimum tune should be awsome once you sort the little gremlins.

Brett was so impressed with my tune that he asked me who done it, i just said some bloke out there lol.

    • Does it also misfire equally when revving?   Josh is very correct in what you should do. The coilpack harness wiring loom itself is a known problem due to its age and the number of heat cycles it has gone through. Throwing parts at a vehicle to diagnose the issue isn't a smart or good way to do it. Secondly, you may have a bad coil pack, you pop replacements in, they fix that issue, but messing with the harness breaks it, so the issue persists. So now you think "well it wasn't the coil packs" and have to continue chasing your tail, potentially swapping back in your shit coil packs and returning the good ones (yes, I've seen people do this because 'it wasn't the problem' and they want to save money). And suddenly, you've got two issues with the same symptoms...   Diagnose, don't use the spare parts shotgun.
