My partner has a Tommy Kaira limited edition R34 in black that he wants to sell. Can anyone tell me where we can get anestimate price for the sale? It has approx 40,000klm on it.

got some pictures? or other details?

really hard to know without details.

however it is probably safe to say that if he wants to sell it with the least bother the value will be half

of what you might expect when you look at what is for sale currently.

It was featured in a magazine at that time the only one in oz. Where would be the best place to advertise it?

  • 2 weeks later...

I reckon theres one floating around bendigo here in Vic as well. I can only assume its real as almost every single part of the car has logos built in (not stickers). It is a Silver Gtt with T Wing spoiler, front side and rear diffusers. (Even the T wing has the logos built into it), definately an RB25 neo. It was in at my mechanics shop the other week for a service. I had a quick look through it and i reckon i could count at least 30 Tommy Kiara Logos. As well as massive sticker on each side of the car.

Ive seen it around town a fair bit here and it never really floated my boat as i thought it just looked like something someones tried to fake. But after looking a lot closer my mind quickly changed. Certainly not something you see every day.

As for estimated price. I wouldnt have a clue :P

Luke

    • Thanks for the linkie. Certainly always a great deal of help when people post comparisons like these, but I think for now I'll stay away from any semi slicks. I did go ahead and order the sportcontact 7. My buddy has them on his modified A4 and he keeps saying how good they are. For my intended purposes these will probably work real well. I'll report on them once I had the chance to try them out
    • Talk about noisy. Even when I still had the Tomei under the car I could distinctly hear the tires rolling. And I doubt I ever will need maximum grip like on a track. My GTR will maybe never even see the 600hp mark and I need to get used to the car quite a bit before challenging the limits of its handling. For the next winter storage I think I will get a set of these rubber drive-on thingies that have a tire shaped base. Those supposedly really help prevent flat spots.
    • Well our climate is definitely way less hot overall and the weather can be quite picky at times. I just know that during normal road use or even spirited drives there is no way I'd be able to consistently stay in the operating temperature, and constantly changing the tire pressure would also be a royal pain.
    • Input shaft bearing. They all do it. There is always rollover noise in Nissan boxes - particularly the big box. Don't worry about it unless it gets really growly.
    • For once a good news  It needed to be adjusted by that one nut and it is ok  At least something was easy But thank you very much for help. But a small issue is now(gearbox) that when the car is stationary you can hear "clinking" from gearbox so some of the bearing is 100% not that happy... It goes away once you push clutch so it is 100% gearbox. Just if you know...what that bearing could be? It sounding like "spun bearing" but it is louder.
