hey mate, not saying your skyline isnt good but have you seen the price on other r33s?

that would usually go for about 12k...

lol maybe for a series 1! good to see you did so little research before making a comment like that :)

Im with cerci, i had an R33 s2 1998 two years ago that sold for 18K. it was awsome condition with only 70,000Km. you will get bout 15k if u are lucky!!

Goodluck

haha, well 15k is a lot more than 12k???? If it was your car and you wanted to get 15k for it would you not try and ask that little more, just to give the buyers a bit of bargaining power! Thats all im saying..... ive also got a series 2 for sale that ive put 17k on, not expecting every cent but with all the mods and cleanliness i might be in luck!!! As a seller there is no way that you would start at ur lowest price!

So not sayin that the guy is asking too much or too little, he is just not trying to give the car away to start with. Just my 2c

Haha good call !@!

done my research? mate ive owned a series one 94 model and a series two 97 model with a shit load more mods than that and got way less than your asking price

yeah nice 1 dare ya...take a look around the other r33s for sale, and you have no chance selling a near stocker for that price

and sorry to tell ya you will never get 17k either, im going to watch this thread and see your price drop lower and lower my freind, i offered advice and you claim i dont know the market value for street r33s?

but than again, you have come down 1.9k in a matter of how many days? starting to settle in ?

whats the point of "bargin power" its just a waste of time thinking your going to get lucky from some noob who pays ur asking price in cash, dream on

i could go on

happy selling :)

No disrespect at all but im with cerci as well.

BUT you have the right to sell it at whatever price you want. No argument there.

But the value of these cars have gone down a lot in the past few years.

I sold my series 2 in perfect condition..1st owner.. tuned etc etc.. for 13.5k

Gdluck with selling the car. I will be happy for you if you can get more!!

agreed, 13.5k for an immac one is the ceiling...

Thankyou siddr20 and ryan1600

we have all been stung, it just happens with imports, its all the same

u could ask ur orginal price like 5 years ago

again thanks for the input but as you can see its my car that im selling and would appreciate only posts regarding the sale to be put up.. and just to put you at ease i have a person putting a deposit on the vehicle that saw it through another advert, for the same price advertised here; thus showing if your patient and ignore the nay sayers you can make money off vehicles...again thank you for your thoughts..

I sold my 98 40th Anniversary GTS-T for a mere 12k. But that was to a friend, turning down an offer of 14k from Carsales.

I think if you have the patience, someone out there will bite your snag.

    • Oh dear. The panel beating needs to be done before the filler work. Do you have a photo of the dent before you started? Hard enough to not flex and only hit the high spots?  What do you mean it was just temporary?
    • Can u check this way it works for power supply?
    • These coils draw 10amps that what i read online
    • I appreciate the detailed explanation, think I understand now. I spent the better part of last night reading what I could about shuffle and potential solutions. I had replaced the OEM twin turbo pipe with an alternate Y pipe that is separated further away from the turbo. The current one is from HKS and I had a previous pipe that was separated even further away, both have shuffle. I had heard that a divider can be welded in to the OEM pipe to remove turbulence, and figure that aftermarket pipes that are more separated would achieve the same thing. From what I read, most people with -10 turbos get shuffle due to their size, though it's a bit less common with -5s on a standard RB26. I think Nismoid mentioned somewhere it's because OEM recirculation piping is common in Australia with -5 cars. It seems that the recommendation tends to vary between a few options, which I've ordered in what I think is most feasible for me:  1. Retune the MAP or boost controller to try to eliminate shuffle 2. Install OEM recirculation piping 3. Something called a 'balance pipe' welded onto the exhaust manifolds. I don't know if kits for this are available, seems like pure fabrication work 4. simply go single turbo My current layout is as follows: Garrett 2860 -5s HKS Racing Suction intake MAF delete pipes HKS racing chamber intake piping hard intercooler piping,  ARC intercooler HKS SSQV BOV and pipe Haltech 2500 elite ECU and boost solenoid/controller HPI dump pipes OEM exhaust manifolds HKS VCAM step 1 and supporting head modifications Built 2.6 bottom end All OEM recirculation piping was removed, relevant areas sealed off I'll keep an eye out for any alternative solutions but can get started with this.  Only other question is, does shuffle harm the turbo (or anything else)? It seems like some people say your turbo shafts will explode because of the opposing forces after a while and others say they just live with it and adjust their pedal foot accordingly.
    • That worked out PERFECTLY! Thank you big time to JJ. He was able to swap me his stock diff. He drove all the way to me as well. Killer! Removal & install was pretty straightforward. The diff itself is HEAVY. So that’s a 2 man job.  Man does the car drive nice now! Couldn’t have worked out any better 👌
