hi guys, a few of my mates have rb26/30,s now including me. but if we have a crank failure in the future, maybe a bearing spinning etc we have no spare rb30,s cranks, what kind of money can you guys get them for and what would be the cheapest way to get them to the uk..we are in no rush really but could do with a couple of spare std, un ground cranks for the rb30,,bernie

As above: The complete block is worth about $100, but then you would need someone to remove the crank, prep, pack and post the crank.

I would guess that about $200+prep+postage is a fair price.

prep= Making sure the crank is in good condition and is not warped/cracked/scorched/etc. The last thing you would want is to receive a unusable crank.

The extra $100 is to pay the person to remove the crank and send it to be tested.

I reckon a shitload.. a 24kg crank from aust to uk would cost tripple what the part is worth..

What the part is worth in Australia maybe, but here in the UK RB30's fetch a massive premium. If i could get a container full of RB30 bottom ends for $100 each and ship them to the UK i would do as they cost between £400 and £600 here ($850-$1250 aud)

Is that a business proposition?:D

If we send you guys all our RB30's there won't be any left for us :)
