Hey,

does anyone know where you can buy exhaust manifold studs from in Perth? I know i should be able to get them from north-side Nissan but its to late to call them today and check if they have them in stock, and if by chance they don't does anyone know where i could get some? (only after 1)

Its for an rb25det S1 R33.

hey mate,

reading ur post... i dont think u understand that your ment to replace them all once you take it off.

+ i mean @ $2 each there pretty cheap... if i was you n taking the manifold of... replace them all.. its not worth it if another snaps,

which you ask anyone that has done it, they generally do if you use your old ones =]]]

also mate, nissan stock them just walkin a grab them from parts.... i wouldnt be trusting non nissan ones to fit prefectly in + the lengths may variey abit.

i needed longer ones to fit my spacer plate for the new turbo. mate hooked me up with some though metric man, fit perfectly and seam to be very good quality. they're 1.5mm pitch on the manifold side and 1.25 on the turbo side, cant remember what diameter.

    • Does it also misfire equally when revving?   Josh is very correct in what you should do. The coilpack harness wiring loom itself is a known problem due to its age and the number of heat cycles it has gone through. Throwing parts at a vehicle to diagnose the issue isn't a smart or good way to do it. Secondly, you may have a bad coil pack, you pop replacements in, they fix that issue, but messing with the harness breaks it, so the issue persists. So now you think "well it wasn't the coil packs" and have to continue chasing your tail, potentially swapping back in your shit coil packs and returning the good ones (yes, I've seen people do this because 'it wasn't the problem' and they want to save money). And suddenly, you've got two issues with the same symptoms...   Diagnose, don't use the spare parts shotgun.
