Autosalon: FINAL BATTLE! Sydney

Did any one here get invited to enter the final battle? Also, is there going to be an SAU and/or BMT stand there?

If not invited...is any one going to go to it?

You'd think that some of us would have been invited, but to no avail.

Maybe it was coz the way my car won the dyno challenge but I though 495rwkw was enough to justify an invite even though the car looks stock externally.

well, i havent checked recently, but your was the highes out of all leading up2 melbourne...

i received an email from autosalon with an entry form...if i got 1, u would have 2...

its the same as any show really...just the deciders go in the final, so who ever wins there wins the title

Nah, I thought I would have at least been invited but when I checked the results in the AutoSalon mag, my name wasn't there as an invitee.

Don't think I can be farked heading up with the car anyway unless they pay for it.

I think with the Final battle, invites are paid for with accomodation and entry etc by AUTOSALON... they only give it out to 1 or 2 cars per state.They even pay for your car top be shipped to NSW! However anyone can enter the normal way. Also they invite by mainly highest point at each state show.

If they ain't paying for me to go, then I guess me and the car ain't going either.

That's ok though. I only wanted to go in the dyno comp anyways and see how I go against other GTRs and 6 Cylinders.

all show cars though..some of which were gay...like who gives a toss if u waste 40K on makin a crap car half decent...it still doesnt have any power...
