Picked up my type M front bumper on Thursday. Currently getting it fitted to my Stagea as we speak, holes are not pre-drilled. Friendly service at Viva Garage and they love to talk about the stags. Once its fitted correctly, I pull it off again for a light rub and spray. :D Just in time for the car show next weekend.

Will post pics when done ... and if it ain't too hot. :D

Got any pics?

What was the fibreglass quality and fitment like. By the sounds of things the Viva stuff varies alot. Some people have said some of there stuff (not stagea kits) fitted perfect and others have thrown the stuff in the bin or got it replaced or refunded.

I took the punt yesterday and have ordered a new rear bar and side skirts to the R34 front a bit better than what I had.

Time will tell. Viva told me they are the first batch out of the moulds, so hopefully they will be ok. There made in China.

Have heard good and bad about viva garage, so am also keen on how good quality and fitment goes.

Received my rear bar and side skirts yesterday. Had a quick look at them. The quality of the f/glass is about a 6/10 compared to my genuine Dolphin kit. I think it will take a good day or two to get them ready for painting. Need to fill them where the 2/3 peice mould lines are, minor pin holes in gel coat and they are not completly flat. Will try them on the weekend for fitment. Fingers crossed.

Update with rear bar and side skirts

Managed to stretch left hand side skirt to fit.

Right hand side skirt was too short. Had to cut in half and re-fibreglass. Ended up 6-7mm longer to fit with stretching

Rear bar fits like crap. Was approx 10mm short down each side of the car where it meets the rear wheel arch. Last night I cut both sides off just below the tail lights. Have now got rear section across the back of the car fitted and have to mount and line up both side and re-fibreglass the gaps.

All up approx 20-25 hours work to get these to fit perfect. Makes cheap copy chinese kits not so cheap anymore.

I would hate to have to pay someone to do the this.

Also parts are are mainly resin and not much fibreglass which make them heavy and not very strong and as soon as you flex them the gelcoat/resin cracks.

The genuine Dolphin kit I had on it was probably half the weight and a perfect fit.

Below is a few images showing the quality of the cheap stuff that is around these days and a few images of a mates work that he states will fit 100% and preped for painting.

You get what you pay for and yes it is a one piece S13 front for a drag car.

So based on that, what kind of quality can we expect from the molds of the M35 Nismo kit you have?

When the M35 kits happen it will of course be 100% fitment as per everything else, all these parts are done in house by one guy who knows what he is doing and stands by his workmanship.

    • Yep, the closest base tune available was for the GTT, I went with that and made all the logical changes I could find to convert it to Naturally Aspirated. It will rev fine in Neutral to redline but it will be cutting nearly 50% fuel the whole way.  If I let it tune the fuel map to start with that much less fuel it wont run right and has a hard time applying corrections.  These 50% cuts are with a fuel map already about half of what the GTT tune had.  I was having a whole lot of bogging when applying any throttle but seem to have fixed that for no load situations with very aggressive transient throttle settings. I made the corrections to my injectors with data I found for them online, FBCJC100 flowing 306cc.  I'll have to look to see if I can find the Cam section. I have the Bosch 4.9 from Haltech. My manifold pressure when watching it live is always in -5.9 psi/inHg
    • Hi My Tokico BM50 Brake master cylinder has a leak from the hole between the two outlets (M10x1) for brake pipes, I have attached a photo. Can anyone tell me what that hole is and what has failed to allow brake fluid to escape from it, I have looked on line and asked questions on UK forums but can not find the answer, if anyone can enlighten me I would be most grateful.
    • It will be a software setting. I don't believe many on here ever used AEM. And they're now a discontinued product, that's really hard to find any easy answers on. If it were Link or Haltech, someone would be able to just send you a ECU file though.
    • Yes sir am asking is there possible way from aem tuner from wiring pins
    • Have you checked cam to crank timing and confirmed balancer marks are correct?
