still quite a nice shot, the way it is. I'm not usually a fan of leaving the headlights on for night shots. but thats just me.

Maybe take a torch with you next time and try shining that on parts you want to illuminate next time

yeah me neither, alto i took a few shots just this one turned out best.. was thinkinh bout a torch but didnt think till it was too late ahha.. was lucky enough to have a car drive past and have its lights shine on the front wheels ahha..

mmmmmmmm no

oh btw.. I need to upgrade my remote switch thingo cos it's different than the 400D as you know.. I wandered in to a shop and they said $100 for the cable.. wtf ? is that serious? my 400D one was like $13

Also.. what are you dropping the fruit in to?

Yea the proper canon ones can cost a lot.

I bought mine from ebay (the cheapo ones) - But i havnt experienced any problems with it at all.

I have left my shutter open for an hour or so once and the cable had no problems :/

Also.. what are you dropping the fruit in to?

What you mean?

I didnt have a proper setup that night. I was just experimenting quickly.

Next time im going to get a bowl full of water and get a dripper from the top. Then mount my flash externally on the side.

Heres one from tonight for now.. Uploading and processing more as we speak. Got some star trails etc..

Wish i had a bigger zoom lens and a proper mount..

But all i have is a 40d with a sigma 17-70. Hopefully one day i can purchase my very own zoom lens or telescope etc..

    • This is a recipe for disaster* Note: Disaster is relative. The thing that often gets lost in threads like this is what is considered acceptable poke and compromise between what one person considers 'good' looks and what someone else does. The quoted specs would sit absurdly outside the guards with the spacers mentioned and need  REALLY thin tyres and a LOT of camber AND rolling the guards to fit. Some people love this. Some people consider this a ruined car. One thing is for certain though, rolling the guards is pretty much mandatory for any 'good' fitment (of either variety). It is often the difference between any fitment remotely close to the guards. "Not to mention the rears were like a mm from hitting the coilovers." I have a question though - This spec is VERY close to what I was planning to buy relative to the inboard suspension - I have an offset measuring tool on the way to confirm it. When you say "like a mm" do you mean literally 1mm? Or 2mm? Cause that's enough clearance for me in the rear :p I actually found the more limiting factor ISNT the coilover but the actual suspension arms. Did you take a look at how close those were?
