ive never been to melbourne.....

but from what ive been told by people from sydney whos been there....

have said the people in general....are ALOT nicer in Melb...

especially the Ethnics there...have a different Mentaility there than the likes of here.

i recall a melboune group of guys came down to a club in sydney.... "Watershed" or watever its called on Darling harbour....

they were all happy at the start.....then at the end of it.....they said "WTF is wrong with the girls here.... FFS!....u talk to them and they just snop ya...u should come down to melb ..people start convos with u just for the sake of being polite...unlike the girls here...if they dont like ya....they think ur an ASSHole for just even saying hello to them"

which is probably true, coz people overseas say the same thing about sydney siders as well... but these things didnt bother us much cause sydney people were used this kinda environment...

so im just letting ya know from what i hear of peoples experiences

Yes you are 100% correct about sydney girls having a major attitude problem. I really cant see the sense in it...Where is the stuck up attitude getting them ?Melbourne people are far more social

Might be worth a try to get into Ivy or the Establishment ( Maybe )...Establishment is full of Gold digging girls. So just make up stories about you career....As long as you pik up...who cares. Ivy is supposed to be pretty trendy.I know the girls who walk out of that place are always HOT

yes i hear that all the time....

sydney girls.....all of them.....really think they are, all that..

and the way things works at clubs is guys....(usually a sausage fest) will approach girls.......so they got it easy.

and in sydney.....if they are attracted to you.....they will obviously talk to you.....but lets say if they dont....they really either cant be bothered or they see you as a NUISANCE...

they will probably tell you to f**k off or just give you a dirty........

trance clubs are generally very friendly cause everyone is off thier nut......

Umm.. BS

I've met heaps of hot AND down to earth chicks in clubs in sydney. Admittedly I'm usually only at house/electro clubs. The r&b clubs i've been to I havent really noticed much difference though... apart from the fact that I'm usually the only aussie in the club.

Hmmm yeah Melbourne is awesome for clubbing, i just assumed sydney would be pretty much the same, girls here are pretty laid back and i dont seem to have a problem picking up or anything, id better not get told to f*** off lol that would be a first.. But yeah might go Superclub @ Tank on friday and check out Dynasty @ Privilege Bar on saturday. I'll post back when i check it all out and say what i think of the girls/club

Tank on Friday nights is RnB Superclub...good but a bit trashy.

Red Room near Martin Place is good - old school rnb plays there...at least when Ive been there.

Have fun!

The Ivy, Marble Bar, Zeta Bar, The Establishment are the classier bars/nightspots in Sydney.

yeah RnB is dying here.

just like to share my 2 cents -

Gone are the days to be wearing right sized jeans and a pair of Nike sneakers. Instead, (i dont know how) guys wear jeans that are tighter than their girlfriends' and have to wear leather, pointed shoes to gain entry into a club that sells overpriced drinks and plays rubbish music. Any club that allows easy entry is pretty much a condo for pill poppers.

Tank and Privilage are ok but too dressy imho...i like to wear sneakers and tee's, i'm there to dance not pose!

Havana's on oxford st is my pick and then Bambo and St James. Most of these places are 100% asian tho...dunno why but most RnB places seem to be that way.

Tank/Privilage are dressy? Can you get in with nice leather shoes, jeans and a designer t-shirt or is it slacks and a full on shirt type of dress code?

Privilige isn't dressy, it is just a bar in my opinion. I used to get in there with jeans and a T-shirt. Tank however, is a bit fussier. No sneakers allowed, and you need a collared shirt (usually). 50/50 on the guy/girl ratio too so don't bring too many bro's.

Damn i hate wearing collared shirt's. And nah its just me and a mate so usually here we have no problem getting in any more then 2 and its a risk but ive heard in sydney the bouncers just pick and choose who they want in.

Sydney bouncers are arse faces, its lots easier if you know someone on the door or name on the list.

... and any club that doesnt allow easy entry is a hovel for coke dealers? :)

+1

I've been to Arq a few times and had a fantastic time.

Friends of mine have been to the Ivy and said it was good too. I have been to Jacksons on George thats pretty trashy but has really cheap drinks and I was way wasted so I didnt mind where we were lol.

You should come to Newcastle, Fanny's is always a good spot with generally really good RnB music.

Went to RnB Superclub at Tank last night. Got in with sneakers jeans and a Tee from New Zealand that read "Sweet As" - obviously the kiwi bouncer interpreted it well enough to let me in.

anyway 3 hours later im drowning in my own sweat...and i see this guy walk in with a suit...i was gnna call him an idiot.

-Tank. [rnb superclub.. highly recomended]

-Hideout @ MadamDeBiers [Kings X]

-YU

-Dragonfly

-Home [saturday, mix of all genre's.. rnb, hip hop, NRG, etc etc]

-Sapphire [Mixed..]

-Docks

-Pontoon.

If heading out to tank, imo, keep the ratio 50/50 in your group. And dress classy.

    • Welcome to SAU, what are you looking at buying?
    • I checked the injectors again (1 and 2, since they’re easiest to access) to make sure they weren’t clogged. Even though the entire fuel system had been cleaned, I wanted to be certain. Everything looked clean, so I reinstalled and connected everything. When I started the car to confirm everything was okay, it immediately revved up high, so I shut it off straight away. I checked to see if I’d missed a vacuum hose or something, but everything was connected. On the second attempt, the car ran without the high idle, but I noticed a distinct “compressed air” sound coming from the engine bay. Tracing the sound, I pushed injector #6 forward slightly and the noise stopped — it turned out it wasn’t seated properly, despite the fuel rail being bolted down. While holding it in place, the car idled steadily without stalling and ran for over 5 minutes. At this point, I pulled all six injectors out just in case I hadn’t seated them correctly or dirt had gotten onto the O-rings. Unfortunately, I discovered that I had damaged 3 out of 6 injectors (the OEM 270cc ones) during installation. So yes, this was my fault. Since only the pintle caps were damaged, I’ve ordered a Fuel Injector Service Kit from NZEFI to refurbish them. In the meantime, I reinstalled my new injectors – the car now idles fine for over 15 minutes without stalling. I have not attempted to drive it so far. It’s not perfect yet, as it hesitates when the throttle is pressed, but it’s a big improvement. Unplugging the IACV with the new injectors idles at around 800rpm, even with the IACV screw tightened fully. But this is probably due to tune.
    • I wanted to try and preserve the front bumper as long as possible, they're not cheap and are made to order in Japan. Taking inspiration from my previous K11 Micra build where I made an undertray for the Impul bumper, I did the same for this BN Sports bumper but a little slimmed down.  This time round I only made a 'skid plate' (if that's the correct wording/term) for just the bumper surface area, the Micra version covered the gap like an undertray. Starting off with a sheet of mild steel approx. 0.9mm thick 4ft x 2ft in size. I traced around the bumper, cut it out and cleaned the edges. Luckily I was able to get two halves from one piece of metal In the video I installed it as is, but I've since then I've removed it to spray and add a rubber edging trim. The rubber trim is suitable for 1-2mm and it's a really nice tight fit. The bolts had to be loosened due to the plates being too tight against the bumper, the trim wouldn't push on I used some stainless M6 flat headed bolts for a flusher finish (rather than hex heads poking down), I believe this style fastener is used for furniture too incase you struggle to source some. The corner's are a little wider, but this may be an advantage incase I get close to bumping it  The front grill got some attention, finally getting round to repairing it. Upon removal one fixing pulled itself out of the plastic frame, one side is M8 that fixes inside of the frame, where as the other side is M5. Not knowing I could get replacements, I cut down an M8 bolt, threaded it inside the frame along with a decent amount of JB Weld.  The mesh was replaced to match the bumper. One hole on the bonnet/hood had to be drilled out to 8mm to accommodate the new stud, once the glue had set it could be refitted. I think the reason the grill was double meshed was to hide the horn/bonnet latch (which makes sense) but I much prefer it matching the bumper Bumper refitted and it's looking much better IMO The Youtube video can be seen here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bVZP35io9MA
    • The video for the servicing and fuel filter change can be seen here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uLJ65pmQt44 One of the main jobs I wanted to do before the car officially went on the road, was to remove the awful looking blue silicone hoses. There's nothing wrong with having coloured silicone hoses, but I realise as I'm getting older I prefer monotone engine bays with a splash of colour on the engine cover(s). I cover this in a lot more detail in the Youtube video, so unfortunately there's limited photos of the process. The intercooler, upper radiator, boost vacuum and upper breather hoses were all changed to black silicone with mikalor clamps. The only blue left is a blanking cap at the back of the inlet manifold and the GReddy pulleys (which will be replaced for stock when the cambelt gets replaced) While the intercooler pipes were off I gave them a quick clean/polish too A before photo I do have a replacement air filter on its way. Fuse box covers were painted blue, they're now satin black Another job on the list while the bumper was off, is to add some mesh https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/54737966256_99b28bfa30_c.jpg[/img] I was hoping to use some thin wire to secure it, but it seems I've misplaced it and the wire I had was too thick to twist easily. I ended up using cable ties for the time being https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/54737131882_c2b7989dcc_c.jpg[/img] Was pleasant to see this https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/54737131627_8b2aab13b3_c.jpg[/img] The last thing to do was to fix the front grill and re-mesh that to match but I ran out of time The Youtube video can be seen here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R4FsF6tgizE&t=23s
