Hey all. I have a small, seemingly easy photoshop project I need someone to help out on. I don't want to give away the pic', so if you're relatively handy with P/S, drop me a PM. All shall be revealed in days to come...

Ta! Jayce

Sorted! Big props to noakespg (Pete) who did a great job. The basic story is that we have a member of our cycling team that used to be good at everything(apparently), but now only contributes to our email group by way of spelling and grammar corrections, for the most part. He's a good guy, but we all get a rise out of him by tearing into his wannabe history, and how he needs to get a life outside of correcting all the little thing while we get on with racing. So, if you go to http://www.teamquon.blogspot.com/ and check out the post in reference to 'Big Dog', you can see the RTA's Speeding campaign ad' has been changed a little. I know most of you will look at this and think "WTF?", but some of you might get a chuckle out of it...

So, there's the basic story; the full version would take months to explain...

    • Heh. I copied the link to the video direct, instead of the thread I mentioned. But the video is the main value content anyway. Otherwise, yes, in Europe, surely you'd be expected to buy local. Being whichever flavour of Michelin, Continental or Pirelli suits your usage model.
    • Continental have consistently beaten the absolute shit out of every other performance tyre in Wet/Damp/Cold conditions and give up a little bit of time (half a second at most) in the dry. Almost like it's engineered for German conditions or something. I'd def give those a try.
    • I refer you to this thread on PF, by someone who knows what he's doing. Paints a good picture of the humble AD09.
    • Ha, I've never pressed the X in all these years incase it removed the notification for all Admins
    • I don't know, I've never done it that way, but 1. While it is an interference engine, there is still clearance between the valves and the piston at all points in the regular timing cycle 2. There is not a lot of distance before you can't catch the top of the valve stem any more I don't know if 2 is greater or less than 1. But 3. If it doesn't work out you are f**ked, engine is coming out to disassemble so it is a big bet.
