Quick O2 Sensor Question

im changing out my dump pipe and replacing my o2 sensor while im at it, got a EL falcon sensor for $110, the thread is the same and im aware i need to change the plug.

ok so both sensors have 2 white wires and 1 black wire, if i chop the plug off do i just match it up, example black wire to black wire and heres the part im not sure about, either of the white wires to either of the white wires, ie. it doesnt matter which white goes to the other white?

heres some pics of the sensors, the thread is the same but they dont look the same, is this normal and ok? (the falcon one is the one with the longer lead)
