Doesn't anyone have a airconditioning compressor lying around for an R33 skyline that they think works and they don't need?

Or does anyone have a mate that's just done an engine transplant and doesn't need the compressor?

I'm desperate here. I need my aircon. Thanks to Red Devil, they "Serviced" it and now it doesn't work at all.. At least it used to work when you were driving along the freeway.

OR... anyone got any contacts at an airconditioning place taht they could recommend?

hello erin, don't get secondhand compressor as the seals in them been exposed to air would be rooted. it might work for a few wekks , but that's about it. be cheaper to go full aftermarket one from nipondenso for around $700 and it's guaranteed. also u sure it's ur compressor as skylines are at that ages where the condenser will poop themselves as mine did out of the blue and u will need to get custom one about $800 so either way ur going to be lighten to the tune of aroung 700-800. but if u really wanted to fenn from here has one at his house.

it looks like there was 3 different compressors on r31 skylines and one of them looks like it will fit. i think they're about $800 but there might be a bit of work to get it to work properly( hoses may be slightly different). i'll post the part number for that compressor tomorrow.

I have obtained an RB25DETT compressor which looks the same except for a little lug nut that doesn't look like it's been used in it's life, so hopefully this will be the right one and it will get me out of trouble for a while.

I've been told that Zexel compressors are the least reliable and the worst compressor. YAY. Just another lemon thing to add to my car's already long list :(

    • You'lll likely have to make do with R33 GTR for engine/tranny stuff, and Stagea for the body. I don't know that there's even been an actual diagram seen in the wild.
    • Haha, i kow right? Could have bought so many cars for the same amount of money (or less) but driving Unicorn gives you at least +1mln to style 😅. Like wise man said "life's to short to drink cheap wine and drive boring cars" 😉
    • Newbie here, proud owner of an Autech 260RS. I'm on the hunt for wiring diagrams specific to the 260RS, particularly S1. I've ran my eyes through R33, R34 Diagrams, there are some similarities, however continue to find incorrect wire colours and pins on connectors in the 33,34 diagrams.   I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction? I'd be happy to pay for the originals in Japanese. I can translate them, at least they would be accurate.   Any help please would be greatly appreciated, never heard an RB26DETT before let alone driven one, and I've got a spaghetti monster of goodness to sort out.   Cheers Benny
