Is there anybody at all out there who has managed to find a set of replacement front/rear seat covers and/or floor mats for the Stagea/Skyline???

I have looked online, checked with Nissan Australia, been around to a few import dealers etc, but to no avail. I have been offered 2nd hand floor mats for $200 that don't look any better than the ones that I've already got! (quite ratty). The seat covers I have are front seats only, and are generic fitting ones that look terrible and don't fit properly.

Someone on SAU has done a fabricated Stagea floor mat group buy in the past. Not sure what the chances are of that starting up again?

I bought these for my Stagea.. Only thing about them is that they are for the Manual.. The auto has a bigger foot rest, so the corner of the mat lays across the rest... No real issue. They look great in my car... I was thinking about getting it trimmed and re-edged to suit the auto's foot rest but haven't got round to it.

that just jap price is shocking.

search importmonster, bound to find some.

or get some made up at a carpet place, they'd have reasonable prices,

could choose your own colour and carpet style too.

get some 70's style shagpile :D

I was the one that did the group buy for the fabricated mats (copied from originals).

The original supplier no longer sells them, but I have been trying to get in contact

with the manufacturer, as I believe they would still have the patterns.

I have a set of original Stagea floor mats in grey.

Make me an offer...

Hi Inmate,

If you could PM me some details and photos it would be appreciated. What condition are they in?

Beastien,

Have you considered doing another group buy through another manufacturer? I would be down for a front set of mats provided the price wasn't ludicrous (ie $420) :(

....so noone has seat covers on their Stagea???

Hmmm...I've gotta say, Import Monster is a pretty shocking site to navigate around. I would be really reluctant to bid on anything there without being able to read Japanese, or at least know how to understand those ridiuculous translations. Having said that, if anyone finds a new set of factory Stagea front mats on there, send me the link!!!

If you have any problems with tanslations, send Importmonster an email with the web link. They are more than happy to let you know the details of an item or ask the seller a question on your behalf.

Ah, the ones from Just Jap are worth every dollar.. They are original Nismo mats and look great... If your cringing at the price of floor mats, wait till you have to buy brake pads...

About the yahoo.jp auctions, all you need to do is type WGNC34 into the search field.. The auction icon is easy to work out.. When you find something you like based on the picture, copy the URL into the yahoo translator.. The translator is called bablefish... It translates it and then you can read about it and decide if you want to get import monster to bid..

I used Zac from Slidewize last time, but he seems to be off air at the moment...

There are heaps of floor mats on yahoo.jp

Will try and track down the manufacturers that did the first group buy, failing that I will look for another.

There doesn't seem to be many around though.

The original GB was around $100 for a full set if I remember correctly.

never heard of seat covers for stagea's .

i got leather seats in the sunny days i just chuck on those nismo slip on ones your get from autobarn :P

but if there is actual stagea seat covers i might look into them

For seat covers there's an Australian company called Ryan seat covers, they used to make custom fitted seat covers. They may have a listing? I have seen these on a R33 and fitted very well.

As for floor matts there may be an Australian company making them, try some of the larger auto parts type store's, you never know.

i work for autopro and ive tryed to find seatcovers/mats for our s1, tryed every supplier we deal with and cant find squat, did find genuine nissan weathershields though in melbourne $400 lol

I have the original floor mats except the right rear passenger (if my memory serves correct)

in good nic. never used while I had the car as I purchased the ones from the group buy (which went with the car)

up for sale I guess. I have no use for them.

make me an offer if interested.

Hi Stageagirl,

Can you PM me some photos of the front set? If they are in good nick, I'd be keen to get them. I'm in Melbourne - are you in Vic?

All you need to do is put this link into import monster...

These are pretty cheap!!

Ok, I've tracked down the original manufacturer from the GB.

I originally had a five piece set made (including centre rear),

but he said he only has patterns for a four piece set.

I discussed with him about making a pattern for a one piece rear mat,

and he said that would be no problem.

So basically I need to see what sort of interest there would be for a GB,

and if sufficient I will get it underway.

There is a five set minimum.

Here are some pictures from the original GB.

    • Hello!  i just finished manual swaping my r34 skyline with a r33 rb20de box(RB71C)box  When the car is running it squeaks crazy loud and it was smoking from the gearbox area. The gearbox is fine it was tested. The clutch slave cylinder seems like it doesn't fully releases the clutch. I want to ask if this noise is from the throw out bearing or could it be the clutch assembly or disk att.xFliq87Gzw6kImKBVqDebXkj0fBqymk0JaYeP3_3SlM.mp4
    • A few small updates since the previous post and lessons. I decided to do a little interior light upgrade on the 110. I quite like the iilumo items, even if they're a bit of a premium over other brands. You'll also note the Stedi Fogs, that will go into the S15 fog lights as I needed to match the bulbs since I got the new ones earlier. I hope they fit as the body is quite a bit longer than your normal bulb.  Annoyingly, I managed to trip the fuse, which normally wouldn't be an issue until I located the fuse. I can't say I've ever come across this. I had lucked out that someone nearby had a spare, but oddly enough Toyota dealerships seem to keep this in stock. I ordered some to keep in my stash and as luck would have it, someone else nearby tripped the same fuse so I passed on the favour.  I also did a little service on the 110 ahead of some additional work coming up. It's been annoying that Goleby's stopped carrying this particular HKS filter for the 110, so now I need to keep them on order from Japan. I also took the opportunity to install a bash plate and number plate riser. The plate riser is such a cheap but nice fix to help really tidy up the car. I'm tempted to now also replace my headlights, on this car. Both items were from Project Aero.    I also needed to replace the rear tyres on the 110, and after trying to get it aligned learnt that I need to replace some bushes in the front end, so that's next.  Closing out this update with a nicer picture as always!
