..i bet you waste your food while you complain.. knowing theres kids to be fed in Africa and starving kids in Asia. Even adults needs to be fed down there..

..yup that was a good one, use to get that in my household when i was a kid. hehe :)

lol

where all the inbred rednecks are?

Well... the choice is yours. Crowded, aggro Sydney or redneck Hicksville. Personally, I'd live in Hicksville if it weren't for a 10 min drive to work for me :P

Definitely live in Hicksville before Melbourne

If you think Sydney is crowded, try going to Japan... or just about any other Asian country for that matter...

If you think Sydney is agro, try going to New York or LA...

You think the cost of living is f**ked in Sydney? Try going to Moscow, Tokyo, London, Hong Kong, Geneva, Zurich, Milan, Paris...

We've actually got it pretty good here.. you're just a whinger! :P

i can agree with you on that one..... b ut it depends on how you look at it.

of course....we have it better than most but you gotta admit...unfortunately, no matter how good it is here....its just gonna get WORSE....

we got GST now... and we nearly lost Medicare had Good ol' Johnny didn't get booted out.

People complain about the drought, and hammer people with fines with usage restrictions...but of course there is going to be a drought...its the same Dam we have been using for the past 40 years....and population has exploded outa proportion since then.

at the moment at least we got FREE Medicare and other social services like the DOLE, Unemployment benefits etc...

where the WHOLE world doesn't.

don't worry about USA dude....its a hole in every aspect.

but before we look down to them....... Most areas, the traffic is actually alot better than Sydney

they got freeways, ON TOP of freeways...... and some of them have 10 lanes on each direction.

they make the best of their land with roads.....unlike our government.

look at Parramatta Road.... or M5....or the newish M7....

like how the flaming f&%$# can you even use it on peak hour traffic week days.....?

i have to constantly avoid those roads when i travel every day.

as for japan, the good thing compared to Sydney is the crime rate is alot lower. and pretty much hardly any graffiti there compared to the likes of Mt.Druitt..............

and their public transport is renowned to be very very efficient.....in comparison.. look at City Rail Aust..... they're always in strife & on the big story of the newspapers.

at the end of the day.....

people comparing Melbourne to Sydney....

i personally think Melbourne is actually better....

its much more of a "newer" city than sydney... the population is a fair bit less...

people are actually a bit more cheery...

And where is Hicksville even?

well Not long ago i was in a suburb called Arakoon.. its 80Km from Port macquarie.....

thats somewhere id move to when i retire for sure...

    • Hi guys . Can someone help me  I bought an Android screen for my Nissan fuga but it won't turn on
    • My guesstimate, with no real numbers to back it up, is it won't effect it greatly at all.its not a huge change in position, and I can't see the air flow changing from in turbulence that much based on distance, and what's in front of it. Johnny and Brad may have some more numbers to share from experience though.
    • Which solenoid? Why was it changed? Again, why was this done? ...well, these wear..but ultimately, why was it changed? Did you reset the idle voltage level after fitment? I'm just a tad confused ~ the flash code doesn't allude to these items being faulty, so in my mind the only reason to change these things, would be some drive-ability issue....and if that's the case, what was the problem? Those questions aside, check if the dropping resistor is OK ...should be 11~14 ohms (TCU doesn't throw a flash code for this) ~ also, these TCU designs have full time power (to keep fault code RAM alive), and I think that'll throw a logic code (as opposed to the 10 hardware codes), if that power is missing (or the ram has gone bad in the TCU, which you can check..but that's another story here perhaps).
    • Question for people who "know stuff" I am looking at doing the new intake like the one in the picture (the pictured is designed for the OEM TB and intake plenum), this design has the filter behind the front bar, but, the filter sits where the OEM duct heads into the front bar, and the standard aperture when the OEM ducting is removed allows the filter to pulled back out of the front bar into the engine bay for servicing, a simple blanking plate is used to seal the aperture behind the filter This will require a 45° silicone hose from the TB, like the alloy pipe that is currently there, to another 45° silicone hose to get a straight run to the aperture in the front bar Question: how will it effect the tune if I move the MAF about 100-150mm forward, the red is around where my MAF is currently, and the green would be where it would end up Like this This is the hole the filter goes through  Ends up like this LOL..Cheers
    • Despite the level up question, actually I do know what that is....it is a pressure sender wire.  So check out around the oil filter for an oil pressure sender, or maybe fuel pressure near the filter or on the engine. Possibly but less likely coolant pressure sensor because they tend to be combined temp/pressure senders if you have one. Could also be brake pressure (in a brake line somewhere pre ABS) but maybe I'm the only one that has that on a skyline.
