Apparently the peak is 2:36 now, they keep changing the goal posts lol

Water didn't look high at all at 12:30... mind you i am down at Murarrie

Miso - where did you get your tartan handbrake/shifter boots from and would you care if I rocked them too?

Had them custom made. Think it cost $60 from memory. Have the details of the place that did it somewhere, if I have a look around

Have plenty of material left over at home if you want to use it.

Sink another 20k into the GTR. The depressing thing is 20k doesnt go very far lol.

Depends where and what you buy, and who you get to do the work.

20k could get you a seriously fast 32 GT-R even if you started from stock, but as you already have a fair few sweet mods it would go a LONG way.

Think about it, start with a stocker;

sell the 26 bottom end

sell the standard cooler and piping

sell the standard injectors and fuel rail

sell the standard fuel pump

sell the airflow meters

sell the standard turbos

sell the standard dumps and exhaust

sell the standard ecu.

I would think there would be a few grand in all that.

Now, doing all the work yourself you could have a built 30 bottom end under your 26 head with 4wd adapter for 7k or even less I'm sure.

now go buy 1000cc injectors, fuel rail, fuel pump(s), intercooler and pipes, -5 turbos, nice big exhaust system , ECU,boost controller. I've probably left things out but i think that would come in under 20k and you would have a 400awkw GT-R.

Mind you this would be ghetto spec modification.

Oh I'm sure I could make 20k stretch a fair way if I wanted and you will find some bargains along the way. The problem is then that you now have a 400kw gtr with standard brakes and suspension and I could easily eat up another 20k there lol

I'd be content with just having the gtr back on the road again. Fit the new front pipes and get decent cat and some new brake rotors n braided lines.

If you could find the details of the place for me that would be awesome. I thought they were an 'off the shelf' type of thing. If they're custom I'll see if I can track down some of my family tartan to make them out of. If not I'll find something else epic to make them out of :D

Morning Mangs,

John and Noel, you missed epic-tits-arse-legs-body redhead girl that came in for ice cream, wearing skintight black workout gear of some sort that left almost nothing to the imagination. She single handedly made up for all the fail from the rest of the night, especially when she bent over :D. Oh, and she was a P plater.

TFIF. I should be able to go home around 1:30 :)

    • A few small updates since the previous post and lessons. I decided to do a little interior light upgrade on the 110. I quite like the iilumo items, even if they're a bit of a premium over other brands. You'll also note the Stedi Fogs, that will go into the S15 fog lights as I needed to match the bulbs since I got the new ones earlier. I hope they fit as the body is quite a bit longer than your normal bulb.  Annoyingly, I managed to trip the fuse, which normally wouldn't be an issue until I located the fuse. I can't say I've ever come across this. I had lucked out that someone nearby had a spare, but oddly enough Toyota dealerships seem to keep this in stock. I ordered some to keep in my stash and as luck would have it, someone else nearby tripped the same fuse so I passed on the favour.  I also did a little service on the 110 ahead of some additional work coming up. It's been annoying that Goleby's stopped carrying this particular HKS filter for the 110, so now I need to keep them on order from Japan. I also took the opportunity to install a bash plate and number plate riser. The plate riser is such a cheap but nice fix to help really tidy up the car. I'm tempted to now also replace my headlights, on this car. Both items were from Project Aero.    I also needed to replace the rear tyres on the 110, and after trying to get it aligned learnt that I need to replace some bushes in the front end, so that's next.  Closing out this update with a nicer picture as always!
    • Yeah mate, never miss it.
    • Any going to watch World Time Attack at SMSP this year?
    • Appreciate the correction on the "ground", that will make a huge difference to looking at this. That makes complete sense about AF70/AF71 which is what I had come down to being the issue, one of these. I'll have another look in the ignition wiring when I get a chance next week. I'll also make up a jumper wire for running that AF73 test.  ECU is fine, relay itself is fine, pump harness is fine and the pump itself is fine. I am going to upgrade the Walbro 255 anyway with a DW300 I have since I need to replace the fuel sender and I'm going to upgrade the FPR with my chasebays kit ready for new plenum/injectors/dbw, but I'll get this working first. That's why this is so frustrating.
