I will try to get along! Its been a crazy month or so for me! holidays, flood work, promotion ect ect. I take it stones corner is working out ok?

Yeah I know you've been busy. Promotion eh? Congrats.

Stones Corner is OK. Not as good as C.H. was, but it's doing the job. I just need to try and remember to start bringing a camping chair.

ok, have formulated a new plan to approach the cage install that doesn't involve me grinding away bits of the inner roof.

instead, i am grinding the fark out of the sunroof rails. :)

The A J Wyllie Bridge on Gympie Road at Petrie suffered significant damage as a result of recent flooding. Inspections identified riverbed erosion issues with the northbound lanes (low bridge), while on the southbound lanes, there has been significant damage to the guardrail, embankments and lighting.

Crews are working to complete assessments of the damage caused to the low bridge and the bridge must remain closed until the safety of motorists can be guaranteed. A diversion route will be available along Youngs Crossing Road in the event that water is released from North Pine Dam, Youngs Crossing Road will be closed and motorists will need to find an alternative route such as the Bruce Highway. The highway may experience longer than normal traffic delays because of these closures.

council website was saying today that the south bound bridge (high) is closed indefinently.

Wonder if they'll still let me ride across it?

lol, train driver just overshot bray park station, then had to apologize to anyone who wanted to get off there and told them to get off at strathpine.

      roller coaster of a ride. Alarm system was removed & main harness was repaired where possible. still no fix just random successful starts. moved on to the replacing the ignition switch and relay. well all this troubleshooting & repair has been going on, the car is at a paint and body shop being pushed around. Ive been going down there on odd days after work to get it sorted.

      I think he was only proposing to use the wire, not the sender. Simply because it runs from the right place to the right place. Personally, I wouldn't hack up the factory wiring like that. I'd just lay in the Defi loom.

      From memory it wasn't too hard to simply see which wire ran where when you plug that in. Unfortunately also from memory the OEM sender does not use the same configuration 99.9% of gauges run. So in other words if you connect the signal wire that was running to the OEM gauge to your DEFI gauge you might find your oil reads at 200C or some other incorrect value. I remember having the same line of thought and then running new wires/senders to match the gauges I have. The pinout is available in the R34 workshop manual.
