Meant First Four either way still lost lol.

Red Cadeaux f**ked my trifecta up aswell. I got Dunaden though which made up for it. Made out about $100 infront with some other bets aswell.

Except for when Mkaybe Diva was a favorite 2 years in a row and took them both home :P but she is a pretty special case.

She was only second or third favorite for her third win, no one believed a horse could really go three in a row.

Union has shut everyone down today as a sign of respect for the guy who died on Monday. Such a joke. All they want is another day off work. But the day after the Melbourne Cup nobody is going to object to a day off eh.

Boring Wednesday is very boring.

yeah, well I'm figuring out if I go down to Lismore. again. Was there yesterday.

Also, Looking at importing another most excellent vehicular. Need to sort some of the finer details before it happens.

Any guesses as to what it is? Two hints. Nissan and Blue.

Did someone get killed at your site?

I did some work next door at Hamilton Harbour today and the place was completely deserted. I saw 1 other tradesman, and a couple of project managers. Wonder if it was for the same reason.

All for the same reason. Every major site in SEQ was shut down today. The guy didn't die on our site it was at St Lucia doing stuff on the uni. Foreman was killed by a formwork shutter that was dropped.

Sounds a bit harsh reading that back but having the day off does nothing for the guy or his family. If they wanted to show respect or help out they should have worked and donated an hour or 2 of their pay to the family to help them out. But like I said they're just looking for another day off after the melbourne cup.

Shit day was shit.

I don't have a problem with the principle of a union but the way they are run at the moment is just f**ked. All the organisers are just crums.

    • I've seen similar actually in my situation. You never know what tables are attempted to be used when the car thinks it's -99C or +200C. The fail state is not usually that extreme but you know what I mean - it was in my case though! This is where being able to read all the sensors is useful cause you see this stuff really quickly.
    • The above is very important. However as long as you keep timing relatively low, it's plausible to make your own knock ears and plausible to learn to tune with a modern ECU that can do wideband O2 correction like a boost controller. I mean if you only have one viable road to even drive the car on, learning to tinker to this level may be worth doing given you can't do much else with the car...?
    • I find the fact that the rear plate has to be bent inwards at the rear not so bad: but the front is just awful: It's like come on. (these are my very old, now retired/turned in plates) TBH it is a lot of money to fix a minor issue, the fact I said "I'll never really spend the money on doing this" is why people ended up buying them as a gift for a 'car guy' who can be hard to shop for.. for car guy things.
    • I just bent the ends of my premo plates. It even went through Regency like that after the engine conversion and the inspector (a great bloke!) just squinted his eyes and said "I didn't see that". Plates, and how they look, are just something that have zero importance to me.
    • Yeah, I would have said the same. It makes me suggest that there are other things wrong, such that the ECU is totally unhappy with the broken sensor. The only other thought here is that maybe it is shorted, which might cause a different issue to the typical "disconnected" sensor.
