yes im afraid it does Colin, like i said before, go there work for 2 years get rich and come back here and enjoy life, its just pretty much just like a holiday where you get paid alot and no taxes, most of my aussie mates parents in qatar would leave within a maximum of 5 years and their severence pay and savings were enough to buy a new house here and pay off their mortgages etc, 30 cents for a can of coke and 25 cents a litre for petrol, cant complain

Wouldn't bother tbh. You can't get uber wages unless you are working for one of the oil companies anyway. I would only go to the middle east if they had some awesome project going on. Atm it looks like bail town so I'll just chill out here. Plenty of ways to make decent cash here.

serbia?

interracial ftw?

Serbia vs Qatar?

Colin just in case your interested in the future, check out http://www.qp.com.qa/qp.nsf/jobs?OpenView

there is so many jobs i could do there, but they dont list salary!

Aircon FTW :D

agreed, our whole house is ducted, loving it

Andy youl have to attach your resume and complete the form and they will interview you, they will pay for your airfare to get there and come back, you can negiotate salary if they accept you, i dont know your profession but i would say you would be looking atleast 3 to 4 grand a month tax free for the lower scale jobs, and thats very low scale im talking about.if you work in the town my parents work in you can choose either to live in the accomodation they provide rent free with all utilities such as electricity and water provided free or they will give you a generous rent allowance and you can live in the capital,Doha.

you will also be given allowances for your childrens education etc if you have any, and they will give a full round ticket once a year free so you can come back to australia etc, all holidays are paid.

gosh i sound like a recruitment agent hehe. if you need more info just ask.

Evo X is shit

yes indeed, housemate had a evo X GSR, wrapped it around a tree a month after buying it, got quoted 45 grand or so to fix up, sold to wreckers for 12 grand,

when at Mitsubushi dealership was told that the top of the line MR model would break the transmission if the TMR package or something along those lines is applied, apparently the SSQ gearbox or whatever its called cant handle anythin more than 300kw. worth the 70 grand price tag? dont think so.

also forgot to mention the clutch shat itself after 7 launches at the 5500 launch control limit.

I'm in

What qualifications do you need ?

you would need a few years experience in the job your interested in, they will be happy to employ australians, loads people have moved there in the past few years, and yes you can drink and buy alcohol, u just need a license like a 18+ card they have here and its piss easy to get, but do not drink and drive, you will get f**ked if you get caught, zero tolerance to drink driving there.

i earn that after tax now...and im bad at negotiating but they would need to literally pay me triple to get me to go and live in a hotass desert!

the heat there is very different from here mate, its dry so you dont sweat as much, ACs are everywhere, i dont know your profession but the number i gave you was for the lowest paid jobs, on average people i know earn 7 to 8 grand a month tax free. and when you add up all the fringe benefits its pretty much 10 to 12 grand if you consider not having to pay rent utlilites etc, i dare say you could comfotably live on 300 to 400 dollars a month even if you ate out 3 times a day.

    • No, code 21 is very straightforward. It can only be the things described in that diagnostic flow. In fact it has no way of knowing that the spark plug resistance is out of spec.
    • Hi, SteveL Thank you very much for your reply, you seem to be the only person on the net who has come up with a definitive answer for which I am grateful. The "Leak" was more by way of wet bubbles when the pedal was depressed hard by a buddy while trying to gey a decent pedal when bleeding the system having fitted the rebuilt BM50 back in the car, which now makes perfect sense. A bit of a shame having just rebuilt my BM50, I did not touch the proportioning valve side of things, the BM50 was leaking from the primary piston seal and fluid was running down the the Brake booster hence the need to rebuild, I had never noticed any fluid leaking from that hole previously it only started when I refitted it to the car. The brake lines in the photo are "Kunifer" which is a Copper/Nickel alloy brake pipe, but are only the ones I use to bench bleed Master cylinders, they are perfectly legal to use on vehicles here in the UK, however the lines on the car are PVF coated steel. Thanks again for clearing this up for me, a purchase of a new BMC appears to be on the cards, I have been looking at various options in case my BM50 was not repairable and have looked at the HFM BM57 which I understand is manufactured in Australia.
    • Well the install is officially done. Filled with fluid and bled it today, but didn't get a chance to take it on a test drive. I'll throw some final pics of the lines and whatnot but you can definitely install a DMAX rack in an R33 with pretty minor mods. I think the only other thing I had to do that isn't documented here is grind a bit of the larger banjo fitting to get it to clear since the banjos are grouped much tighter on the DMAX rack. Also the dust boots from a R33 do not fit either fyi, so if you end up doing this install for whatever reason you'll need to grab those too. One caveat with buying the S15 dust boots however is that the clamps are too small to fit on the R33 inner tie rod since they're much thicker so keep the old clamps around. The boots also twist a bit when adjusting toe but it's not a big deal. No issues or leaks so far, steering feels good and it looks like there's a bit more lock now than I had before. Getting an alignment on Saturday so I'll see how it feels then but seems like it'll be good to go
