i just got the US 2fast dvd and theres this cool short film on it. it shows what happens to paul walkers character just after the 1st movie, up till the start of the second. theres no dialogue, just music, but its pretty sweet.

he starts out running from the cops in LA in a red RX7. i think its the one from the 1st movie, then he does some drags and makes some dosh, then the cops find the car and take it so he hitches a ride with this hot chick and goes to a car dealer where he buys this light greeney r34!!!!! minus rear wing. then u see him driving it across the US racing it, then he sprays it the familiar silver and it finishes in a steet by a beach in miami where hes at a set of lights and we see an orange supra and a red rx7 go by.

just thought id put up a post coz it was pretty sweet to see how he got the car. it was in this short film longer than the movie tho, but was cool nonetheless.

what fuyckwits... the majority of their audience just had to use their puny imaginations to work out what happened to him between the first a second, i mean its blatently obvious, but the average joe prolly hadnt seen the frist one or if he did still didnt have a fkin clue where the two movies linked, they should have included it because the second F&F seriously sucked balls, cept for the 34gtr, only part i nejoyeed was the first 10mins, i would have had better car action driving my gtst around broady dragging holdens :D

Waste of a blank dvd.

;)

BaileyLSD.. yes the movies are incredibly bad, but its about the closest we can get to seeing any of our sorts of cars in any Hollywood movie now, and probably for a long time..

See the 1st one was all about the really bad lines, but there happened to be some entertaining car bits thrown inbetween, and you got to catch a glimpse of a 33, and a few hondas in between. The 2nd one to me was a load of shit as they tried to turn it into a damn Cop movie, and took the emphasis off the cars :) It wasnt quite the same with dodgy lines not delivered by Vin. Then again, there were a few bits that had its moments and that Eva Mendes bird in it.. wa, wa, we, wa

...and that suki chick who looked like somebody had run into her face or something :)

    • An update regarding the registration with the DVLA I sent off the paperwork the day after I collected the car from the port, two weeks later it was all returned with a letter explaining they have rejected the application. This was because the cheque was £20 short for the road tax (I used a price list I found online). Nevermind it is what it is, it was sent back to them the following day with a new cheque. Fast forward another 2 weeks or so, I called them for an update to be told it had been rejected. Yesterday (16th September) I received the documents back along with another letter, this time it was because I didn't put an X in one box on the V750 (personalised number plate certificate), which declared that I had the rights to the personalised number plate. Why this wasn't mentioned in the first rejection letter, I don't know, but it could have saved this headache. The documents were sent back today, so fingers crossed third times a charm and it'll FINALLY be registered on the road just in time for the bad weather (woohoo!) To cheer myself up I lowered the front 25mm, was sick of seeing it sit like a monster truck. No idea how much clearance I'll have getting on and off the driveway, I'll worry about that when I can actually drive it
