The first one of the year with opportunity to take some day pics of yr rides whilst enjoying and early dinner.

Meet: Chatswood Chase Car Park, Enter off Victoria Ave

Time: 4:00pm, Leave by 4:30pm

Destination: Palm Beach via Newport for Pizza.

Bring: CB's, a full tank of fuel and a GOOD attitude.

As always, don't do anything silly as we are on public roads and we do not want bad attention drawn to the group...

We are enthusiasts not hoons or a gang of ANY type out for a drive NOT a race!!!

Traffic will not be an issue because we will stick together and to the speed limit at ALL times.

If you decide to do the wrong thing.....YOU WILL BE REPORTED TO POLICE - this is NOT a joke.

Pizza Place:

Lucky's Pep's Pizza Bar

Shp2/ 303 Barrenjoey Rd Newport 2106 (02) 9979 1756

    • In many cases, aftermarket dump pipe inlet flanges don't properly align with the outlet of the turbine housing, as they were designed to fit within the constraints of a 3-inch pipe. When an oversized wastegate flapper valve is installed, it can interfere with the dump pipe flange. A bit of die-grinding usually resolves this issue. Additionally, the actuator must be preloaded, otherwise, the flapper valve may rattle. The stock wastegate also tends to open too early, so upgrading to a wastegate actuator with a stiffer spring can improve boost response.
    • Are you referring to the common front u-joint + rear CV setup I see sold everywhere? I have a front + rear CV driveshaft on order but if this thing is going to bind I'm just going to leave it as shelf art.
    • They are real good. Big central grooves, sticky compound. I have no fears in the wet. Except for the first couple of miles where you wouldn't count on them to have any warmth in them yet.
    • My favourite LOL is when I see a nice car with $5-10k worth of fancy pants rims, but, they are running on some cheapy spec tyres And as for running semi slicks on a daily that might get caught in the rain, yeap, been there, done that, won't do it ever again, aqua planning going 110kph on a straight bit of Hwy with the Mrs in the car makes you think hard about your life decisions and tyre choices
