good night to be a bombers member :whistling:

one of the few that picked them i reckon i will be. Hopefully the commentators were right in saying we could be fighting for a top 4 finish ths year! Who would have thought it with such a young team.

Hopefully this is the start to a good weekend!

massive last quarter made it a somewhat respectable loss.........if there's any such thing, lol

im hoping the power dont boot choc

hes a pretty decent bloke by all accounts, and considering he took them to a premiership and graeme cornes never managed it, they'd be doing him a bit of a disservice to not renew his contract

Is Cornes going to get the job at the power?

not that i know of, i wasnt inferring that he was, i was more drawing comparison between williams and cornes because i forgot that jack cahill was their first coach. silly me

but yer. as much as the power have sucked and that im not a fan, choco did take em to a premiership which means he does at least have the bones for it, i'd more blame the players at this rate... the power absolutely MUST get rid of the chokers tag if theyre gonna be taken seriously, and that includes chasing points for the margin when you at least know the other team is going to win.... its like they give up most of the time, which is in nobodys interest, most of all the paid spectator

its no wonder that port supporters are generally feral inbred monkeys who spit and curse and then go out and steal car radios. if my team lost so badly, so often, i might become them :~( truly afraid here

Choco will only go on his own terms, the club would never tarnish the image of such a club legend by sacking him. Hes been there for the Power through thick and thin, i wouldn't be surprised if he calls it quits after the H&A season.

Again. another media torn complication.

Choco has the 2nd highest win loss ratio in the league. He has won a flag. Been in a GF. (lost by alot) but still got there. Won NAB cups. Influenced a lot of young players who stand by him. But he must go. why /.?

negative feedback by I hate to say it some of the Port fans who turn on the coach. Media pick up on it too.

Why doesnt M malthouse get the flick too ? what about some of the other lame coaches ?

To be honest Im not too fussed anymore if he goes. It seems he will if you have listened to alot of radio today. However my question is simple. Who is a better coach to take over ?

    • The downside of this is when you try to track the car, as soon as you hit ABS you get introduced to a unbled system. I want to avoid this. I do not want to bleed/flush/jack up the car twice just to bleed the f**kin car.
    • But again, the engineers said your cast aluminium would be fine based on the load that would be stretching that section. Same load stretching the bolts in a flex (not the twist), with a much smaller cross sectional area than the original part you've broken. It's why you'd need to be using higher strength bolts, but that's just making up for the strength you lose with less area...
    • I am truly amazed someone on this planet was able to cycle the pump using a scan tool. I've always ghetto cycled them on Nissan 90s shit boxes by slamming the brakes and pulling the handbrake to agitate the rear wheels enough to cause a speed difference
    • I didn't actually try it at the time but a Launch X431 with the appropriate software licenses/upsell will have the ABS bleed function. The Consult II you can still find some old sets of equipment but they're really, really expensive:
    • Well I'll start by saying I'm not an engineer. I am going to go with the KiwiCNC ones.  They are made of 7050 alloy have good fillets and radius.  The material alone is in the order of double the strength and fatigue resistance - Those bolts, once torqued correctly place most of the load at the flat face of the mating surface - the 'stretch' you're talking about through torqueing them up would be far more than the extra stretch 'load' placed on them from a steering input or bump. (in my opinion) so I doubt they would flinch.    - but again "not an engineer".      oh and I don't think stitch welding 7050 is a good idea, likely just weaken the material (from what I read)
