Can anyone suggest a good workshop that do a complete a full re-spray and how much times/cash involve. I want Xr-6 BLUE. Please help......

i would seriously consider a different colour. Only because this colour is popping up on a lot of cars -obviously because it looks wickid! But, with a bit of thought you could come up with something new and unique, plus the satisfaction of saying "its custom" when ppl ask what the colour is

I went to my painter with the colour in mind, and got him to spray me a few plaques in different shades of the colour, and with different pearls, then i chose from those. Its fun too! Having a colour no-one else can easily copy.

your in sydney, go to queen st smash and check out their colour chips, you'll find a stack of awesome blues that you can "customise".

yeah it's the new falcon blue with slight gold pearl!!! direct light it is still the blue, then it moves from gold tinge to aqua in other lights!!! The gold pearl stripes change alot too!

mines purple pearl, and the front bar is damaged

so i need a new front bar and some poor sole to matcht he front, but my mates reckon with perals you have to spray the entire car, its not about matching.

hey Zoix, what is the base colour?

the problems is you need to know how it was done to get the right effect!! if the pearl was sprayed over the top with a clear base coat it will be alot easier to match the colour, but if they mixed the pearl with the base colour then it gets trickier!!! get a good painter to do it and they will be able to match it pretty close.

I got quote for 4K for Ford (blue print) color. It's that sound ok??? or should i look else where?

GTB055 4 grand is a pretty good price "for a good paint job" ie you cant really say its a good price till you see the end result.

With this sort of thing id never settle on the cheapest quote simply for that reason. Find a reputable place (it shouldnt be hard to find a friend or friend of a friend who knows someone personally -this helps for peace of mind).

Does anyone know how much to add another layer of PEARL ontop of the standard color like eg: - Ford (BLUE PRINT). in term of $$$$$$.
