Takahashi GTR
What do you mean the front differential is not working? I just got my car back after a 5 month Rebuild, I used to drive it in RWD alot of the time. We put the fuse back in the 4WD and it doesnt work? Any ideas as to why? femno
Is the 4WD light on the dash on? Is there any fluid in the reservoir in the boot? Is the front driveshaft in? Did they remove the gearbox from the car during the rebuild? If so did they bleed the system after refitting the gearbox? Im unsure about the front drive shaft though. They did remove the gearbox from the car during the rebuild, But again unsure if they bled the system after refitting the gearbox. Thanks foryour help mate. Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/266849-front-differential-not-working-r32-gtr/#findComment-4553302 Share on other sites
femno
Have a look under the car to see if the front shaft is in. Find out if the system is bled. If not have it bled properly as per Service Manual. If those dont work then get hold of a GTR Service Manual or Google it up, start the car, and if the 4WD light is lit, stick your head in the boot and look to see what the small LED is doing on the 4WD computer. If the 4WD light on the dash is on, the LED will flash certain sequences to give a number (aka fault/error code), once you know the number cross-check with the manual and thats the problem (basically). ujin
i has the same prob as u. is yur RPM working? did u just have a boost controller installed? is there power in the fuse box, where the fuse is? we just did a whole day of troubleshooting. haha.. found out it was due to the tacho (some wireing prob). finally got to dyno it. haha Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/266849-front-differential-not-working-r32-gtr/#findComment-4553494 Share on other sites

So it was a wiring fault or installation error? Ronin 09
check the fault code on the 4WD computer. get the manual, match the number of light flashes. it will tell you what is stuffed. ujin
i agree with ronin. check the number of flashes, and look at the manual. or u might want to check the wireing of the boost controller to the ecu. coz the source to my prob was just some minor wireing which accedentally got disconnected. check the fault code on the 4WD computer.get the manual, match the number of light flashes. it will tell you what is stuffed.
