Power Surges After Fitting Mbc - Help!

I fitted a Turbotech MBC the other day, and found that there were marked surges in power as the boost level built up, especially at wider throttle openings.

I removed the MBC, but the car still does it - what have I done ? - it was OK before. Help !

Put all the hoses back the way you found them.

You probably left one off or connected it the wrong way and you now have a boost leak, which will cause the car to run rich under power, thus surging.
