The '5S' Carpark

Want to park closer to the action at the Drift Supercup on Sunday 24th May?

If you arrive in a;

Silvia,Soarer,Skyline,Supra or Sprinter

we will have someone strategically placed to direct you into the 5S Carpark.......directly behind the main grandstand. When it is full it is full so you will need to cruise up to Mallala early!

Does that include stags?????

I went in through the front and handed my free pass and they didnt know what the hell it was! lol but they took it anyways and got in free... didnt get directed to any "VIP" parking like it says on the form thing though.

Oh? Woops I must of missed that part on the sheet or something... they took it upon entry anyways so no idea.

And no cops at all on the drive there and back - no cameras no nothing. I was driving in cautiously expecting an "RBT" station to pop up any minute now. lol

Thanks Adam. This house is taking up alot of my time ... and I gotta set up for this bbq today. :)

was a good day out there today. Thankfully there wasnt too much rain so the track started drying off by mid arvo making for some more interesting battles.

For those who werent there.

1st. Luke Fink

2nd. Adam May

3rd. dont remember but it was between leigh pidwell and paul austin.

Congrats goes to Luke Broadbent, mate of mine in the matte black cefiro knocking off Jake Jones in the top 32 attle in pro class but was then knocked out by paul austin in top 16. Top effort mate!

And another big congrats to Chris Gobin, another mate in a campagne coloured r31 with blue bonnet, qualifying 4th in street class and making it through to the top 8 battles.

Today definately inspired me to get back out there, will be organising a pivate prac day again soon, maybe go to a couple of pracs if they going to be dry, back into comps next year i think but if im really happy with how the car feels i might do g1 rnd 3.

FANTASTIC day, was a great turnout despite the weather and plenty of great moments on track.

To the disgrace that is SAPOL, I have no words. People legitimately go to a track to use their cars, keeping it off the street yet they still find a reason to come and shit on it all. Thanks guys, glad you're keeping SA "safe"

    • I know people cry at the price of the Getrag 12-14k for a conversion now, but it really is a nice mid point. Not going to get change from 10k on a gearset installed.  $30k++ for sequential.   I know you run the risk of a damaged used one and parts are hard to get but as a street car gearbox its really hard to beat. If you enjoy a more traditional manual, its the choice no question.

    • Yeah I also looked at Plazmaman, but, it ended up alot  cheaper getting black ones through EFI when you also added in the delivery cost
