S14.5 Rb30 Hood Clearance

Does anyone here know wha must be done to make a RB30DETT built with a RB26 head fit under the stock hood of an S14.5 without lowering it dangerously close to the road? If so could you please tell me what parts/mounts/brackets I will need and how to install them? Thanks.

the mounts have to be custom made and engineered iv never done this convertion but have seen a few rb25 silvias if its heeps tight fitt a dry sump would give you more room......

this is only my personal opinion but why people bolt rb26 heads to rb30 blocks is beyond me the rb30 may have slightly more tourque but the block it self is alot weaker and has harmonic issues at 6500rpm .

      That sounds like no chance of even importing one for road registering then Now I see why Duncan wants to check LHD rules for Targa...   I wonder how "bolt in" the AWD would be if you got one imported from the US and swapped it to an AUD one
