Cant Get Over 10 Pound Boost

Just fit boost gauge and manual controller today. Im wanting 12-14 pound boost but wont get past 10. Anyone know why this is or what could be wrong. Controller is all set up correctly by the way. I have noticed increases in power from stock to 10.

Check that you don't have it on backwards, and is the stock restrictor still in the hose (usually indicated by a yellow band)
