R33 Series 2 Gtst Down On Power

Hi guys i put my skyline a the dyno on friday it got 179.9rwhp. It is a R33 series 2 gtst manual.

The guy who dynoed it for me said it i running so rich when on boost it is having trouble burning the fuel and it should have at least 30hp more, the mods on the car are.

bosch 040 fuel pump

3" turbo back exhaust

front mount intercooler

after market coilpacks

iridium plugs (regapped to 0.7mm)

standard air box with k&n pannel filter

running 8 psi

He said to fix it i will need to put a after market ecu, so i want to put a apexi power fc in but he wants to sell me a $3500 computer.

Has any one had this running rich problem before and how you fixed it and is there any thing wrong with the apexi power fc.

Your help would be great.

i pulled 180hp with the same mods as u minus the fuel pump

power fc saw that power jump dramatically

still awaiting final tune, have decided to do a few things before chucking it back on the dyno for that

but mine was street tuned and got 230hp. Not bad but me and tuner both in agreeance that could be better. Like i said though postphoning getting the better figures with a dyno tune till I've added my front facing plenum.

i thinkk..... I got 228.7hp @ 10.5psi (have a slight top end boost drop, still trying to work that out but should be sitting at constant 12psi)

about 200rwkw is achievable for a car with your mods, depending on a few factors
