Looking at selling my rs stagea to upgrade to a 260rs. Just putting the feelers out to see if anyone knows anyone selling one or seen any around in melbourne. A bit to busy to travel interstate to look but if their are any in melb, please let me know!!!!

Can sell you a lovely replica with a fresh built motor... But im in WA... Only cost me $1200 to get a car from QLD to WA, its cheaper going the other way.

Carsales be your best bet mate.

i would be buying this... cost less than most others and already had the motor built by the top workshop in QLD.... 29k is ludicrous for that car

I'd sell u mine... but i'm using it at the moment  haha sorry but i have seen a few around the place from time to time. Maybe contact Yudi (stasis) he has a silver 260rs that he hasn't used in a long time as he has been OS and he might be interested in selling it?? maybe i dono, but the things are so rare you just gota keep ur eyes open and on the carsales sites.

Cheers

Hey kccortez,

Have you considered bringing one in from Japan? Certainly could get you one way less than 29K, and we are in Melbourne and import it and get it all done for you..??

    • I know people cry at the price of the Getrag 12-14k for a conversion now, but it really is a nice mid point. Not going to get change from 10k on a gearset installed.  $30k++ for sequential.   I know you run the risk of a damaged used one and parts are hard to get but as a street car gearbox its really hard to beat. If you enjoy a more traditional manual, its the choice no question.
