Anyone Here Have A Hks Evc Iii Boost Controller?

Hi all,

Anyone here have a HKS EVC III boost controller?

If so - how do you check the current boost setting - i'm lost!

Any help or info would be appreciated.

ive got evc 4...same thing...here are the instructions they are in pdf format

"just found out today that the solenoid on my boost controller is broken.

it used to read 1.1 bar just before the boost controller started up, but now it reads as 0.

the shop advised that they set the boost manually to 1.1bar for me.

not that i dont trust them, but does anyone know how they even did this? and should i -

a) keep it as it is

b) replace the solenoid? (if this is possible? cost?)

c) replace the whole unit with another boost controller"
