Hi all,

I have my car in at the moment getting a new plenum fitted.

The guys doing it doubt that it will be possible to plumb the plenum up to the cooler without either modifying the window washer bottle or replacing it with a custom one.

Anybody out there got photos of the trust plenum fitted to an R33, or have fitted one without having to mod the washer bottle?

Alternately, anybody have any hints on modding the washer bottle so it doesnt look like a back yard job?

Cheers

Steve

Steve,

On mine, they ripped the pump off the standard washer bottle and fabricated an aluminum one that is about half the size and put it back in the corner. This allows the cooler pipes to come up and get to the TB & plenum.

Hmm - it's a lot of trouble and hassle though...

Maybe just sell me your Trust plenum - that will solve the problem !! :D:) :)

Cheers,

keep me posted on that one steve, i'm about to put one on too... check out this thread - do you know what this part described in the manual is????!?!

I got trust plenum and lost washer bottle. Perhaps you could even go to wreckers or something and look for a smaller one off a diff car or even use a radiator overflow bottle, think it would fit?

Dont know if this helps, I just got a replacement water washer bottle with my Trust FMIC kit, they probably assume that your going to replace the plenum at some stage with the new kit. Anyhow its about half the size of the factory one and is actually a suzuki spare part. Let me know if you want the part number/pics of the bottle?

I'm installing the kit this weekend, and am unsure whether it will be needed yet.

So if I dont use it this weekend and you can wait till next week, then its yours for the price of postage ;)

Please yes, if you dont need it, please just pm me and I will send my details. Probably easiest for you if you just COD it down, or I can transfer the money to your bank account.

Thanks heaps

Ronin 09, I will do some investigating, as I imagine it will be a pretty long trip to fight over a washer bottle;)

    • Yeah I also looked at Plazmaman, but, it ended up alot  cheaper getting black ones through EFI when you also added in the delivery cost
    • Nice shot! They look super clean. The roof rack delete on the black one is interesting. Would like to see more pictures from different angles. It's subtle but could make quite a difference to how the car looks in profile.
